Hi Fatou, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
First my aunt gave me an idea to start a business. I started it but wasn’t consistent. 3 years later, I started my hair business with the support of my parents. My mom gave me the initial funds to buy my first wig, which helped me take the first step toward launching my business. Later, my dad provided additional financial support, allowing me to expand and invest more in myself and my business. Since then, I’ve continued to reinvest in my growth, both personally and professionally, and have built my business from the ground up.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Mostly it’s been okay just some negative people sometimes but that hasn’t stopped me at all i use the attention as motivation for a sale or post more of my reviews or wigs so people can see the postive!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So i started in 2020. I wasn’t consistent until 2023. I sell mostly in upstate NY and Raleigh North Carolina. we sell hair such as wigs bundles closures and frontals. We aim for people that want to feel beautiful on a budget. So i try to keep my cost low and do giveaways here and there just to support to community that supports me.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success can be defined in many ways, depending on individual values, goals, and perspectives. At its core, success is achieving personal or professional goals that bring fulfillment, happiness, and a sense of purpose.
