Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. Building and sustaining Green Career Services & Business Consulting has been a constant challenge. Between trying to ensure I have at least one client a week, marketing myself effectively, and balancing the effort to sell my products, it can feel like an uphill battle at times. This business is all about continuous learning, and I make it a priority to research new strategies and approaches daily. Each challenge has taught me resilience and adaptability, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made despite the hurdles.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I believe risk-taking is an essential part of growth, both personally and professionally. While it can be intimidating, I see risks as opportunities to learn, adapt, and reach new heights. Taking risks doesn’t mean being reckless—it’s about making calculated decisions and being prepared for various outcomes.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was starting Green Career Services & Business Consulting while balancing a full-time job. Venturing into entrepreneurship in a competitive space meant dedicating everyday to building a business with no guarantees of success. It required significant time management and commitment, but I believed in my vision and my ability to provide value to my clients.
Another significant risk was offering multiple services under one business model. It required careful planning to ensure I could meet the diverse needs of my clients without spreading myself too thin. It was a leap of faith, but it’s allowed me to grow my skills, expand my reach, and help people in ways I’m passionate about.
For me, risks are a way to challenge myself and uncover what’s possible. Even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always a lesson to carry forward. That mindset has been key to my personal and professional growth.
