Today we’d like to introduce you to Leandro Taub.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Leandro Taub is a Jewish writer and actor, who was born in Argentina and lives in NYC since 2020. With foundations in Vedanta, Shamanism, Occult Sciences, and Jewish Mysticism, he brings useful tools to build a better relationship with G’d, and improve our Health, Mind, Relationships, and Work.
Quoted by more than a hundred news publications in Latin America and Spain, he is the Latin American reference to another way of living life. He is a counselor to great personas, and he works actively to improve the world.
In the past 12 years, he gave more than 200 lectures to thousands of people in the US, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Venezuela. The venues have been art galleries, cultural centers, museums, yoga studios, bookstores, universities, theaters, hotels, and houses.
The themes of the lectures have been based on his studies and books: mind education and training, well-being, building our complete health (holistic and mystical), love relationship (for singles and couples), healthy habits, communication skills, happiness, limits, monetary tools (mystical and physical), and our relationship with G’d.
He writes daily for more than 1 million followers on social media (between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok) about these topics (in trending days reaching over 10 million people in one day)
Taub started his career as an actor and became a financial analyst for a fund management company and a financial strategist in the UAE.
Taub acted as Enrique Lihn, the best friend of Alejandro Jodorowsky, in ‘Endless Poetry’ (Cannes Film Festival, 2016). He is the protagonist of the feature film ‘Woodwind’ by Fin Manjoo (South Africa 2017), and the documentary ‘¿Quien Soy? En busca de lo esencial’ by Luis Esteban Alvarez Armenta (Mexico, 2015) which follows 3 years of tours around Mexico. Taub worked with Ralf Schmerberg in 032c ‘An Innocent Mind Has No Fear’ and Jägermeister ‘Be the meister’, with Florian Tscharf in ‘Bed’, and with Travis Stevens in ‘A Wounded Fawn’ (Tribeca 2022).
His published works include 5 books (two with Ediciones B- Random House, one with Edaf, two with Tikun Olam Books) and 27 audiobooks (Audible Exclusive) on Numerology, Yoga, Shamanism, Tarot, Alchemy, Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism. He writes daily for over 1 million followers on social media and did over 200 talking events in the past 12 years.
Recently Taub debuted as co-director and producer in the feature film ‘Externo’. The film participated in 73 film festivals, received 45 awards, and was released on Amazon Prime Video in September 2022.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It is being a holy journey.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I try to capture what is real and divine through my work. When acting, I want to connect deeply with the audience and become a bridge for their experience, intellect and emotions. When writing, want to do the same, through the words.
To see the glass half full with the potential to get fuller.
To take the problems to elevate myself, as an opportunity to do more of what is good, to lead me to a better version of myself.
To be thankful, everyday, for all the help I receive.
To not naturalize the miracles.
To pay attention.
To be kind.
To replace unhealthy habits from my days, by adding a healthy habit to my days.
To not be fooled by trends.
To review carefully what I say before saying it.
To have a healthy self-esteem, knowing what I have and what I am lacking, knowing what I an good for and what I am not.
To move forward, even if it means the sea must split in two.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
G’d, Dad, Mom, my brothers, my friends, my Rabbis, my mentors, my communities, my people, my cities, my countries, my world.
