Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Robbie Rosen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Robbie, appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I was part of an inspiring documentary with a client’s mother who was battling a serious illness. We all wrote music to describe every step of her journey, which gave her an outlet to express her emotions and all she was going through.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started humming before I could speak! I then got involved in musical theatre and started watching American Idol when I was 7. After many talent shows locally, I auditioned for the show and made the Top 16 (Top 8 Boys), which completely changed my life. Now, I’m able to do music full time, and work with artists/writers/producers all over the world, helping them get to where they want to be with their music. I feel like my reliability and ability to provide a safe space for my clients to open up and express their innermost emotions in the creative process are what set me apart from other creatives in the space. I’m most proud of my work with my clients, as seeing them succeed and reach millions of streams brings me so much joy!
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I knew about sites like SoundBetter where you can earn money for recording and writing for other creatives.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I love being able to bring out the best in my clients. They have wonderful ideas which I help turn into fully-written songs. It’s so gratifying being able to see how everything comes to life and how proud they are of each final product.
