We recently connected with Diego Quiroz and have shared our conversation below.

Diego, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

The name for my business originated from a place of love, passion and respect. Valencia is my mom’s last name given to her by her father, for years that name really didn’t carry any weight being that my grandma lived a rough life. And never really connected with us. So I decided what better name to brand my business with, than the last name of my mother who may feel like her last name isn’t meaningful or important. My mom brought us from Mexico to United States in 1998 with a dream for us to live a better life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hi my name is Diego Quiroz owner of Valencia’s Visions, Valencia’s visions is a photography and videography company. I started this company in 2020 when the pandemic hit. One of my closest friends and mentors Luismilanp who is well known in Az and La. Once visited me at my 9-5 and he said that he was busy with clients and potential clients (he also does photo and video services ) and so I was moved to buy my own equipment and start learning. There is where my vision started. I never imagined that I would be where I am today. I am a proud Hispanic business owner. After those 5 years of experiences I am glad to share that I have been able to film for chayanne a global super star, attend a red carpet in LA, film NBA all star Kevin Durant, film at nascar as part of their social media team. I’m greatful for all the opportunities I have been able to receive, thanks to my work but also my mentor Luis. One think I also specialize in is weddings and helping business owners with their social media. One problem I have solved for businesses is any and all content creation needs. Helping over 20 couples with weddings. Every opportunity humbles me more and makes me more thankful that I was able to film my couples or events. One thing I want you guys to know about my brand is that I strive to influence and motivate one person at least one person. Whether it’s through a video or photo I take. One thing I love and motivates me is helping others grow and teaching others what I know and watching them master it and be better. I love that 🙏🏼

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My mission with my business is to not only achieve financial freedom and do what I love as a living. My mission is to make a positive impact with my content I create and share in social media. To reach and motivate someone who needs a push to keep going in life. Or needs a push to start their own business. And lastly as a Latino business owner is to make my mother and father proud to call me son and to bring me to a place where my dreams could come true.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding part for me of being an artist or creating films is that I am able to bring a story, vision or goal to life, no matter the event from backyard weddings to concerts or nascar, the focus is the same to help the viewer feel every emotion and feel excited. I enjoy being able to be at these events and being able to feel all the emotions and hear all the different sounds and parts of the events I film.
