We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ciera Thomas a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ciera, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
As a mompreneur, I have a heart for helping kids in learning and education. It gives me joy to see the transformation that happens when a child becomes confident in achieving academic success. One day after a tutoring session, I received a heartfelt message from a 4th grade student I tutored. The following words were, “When I tutor with Ms. Ciera, she helps me become more focused and encourages me. Thank you for helping and believing in me.” CoolSCHoolLearning, LLC® is continually helping children with all the services we provide. We are excited about every child’s achievement with us.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi! My name is Ciera Thomas. I am the owner and founder of CoolSCHoolLearning, LLC®. We provide online learning and tutoring services for kids ages 5 – 10 years old. CoolSCHoolLearning, LLC® started in the year 2020 with our creation of printable learning resources for early learners. We later expanded into an online learning platform for kids. We have helped, supported, and provided all of our students with proven strategies that give each one of them confidence to achieve academic success in school, especially with our tutoring services. What makes CoolSCHoolLearning, LLC ® online tutoring services different from others, you may ask? It’s not just about academics; it’s about creating a supportive, judgment-free space where your child can thrive for us. Whether they’re catching up or aiming higher, we’ll tailor each session to match their goals. We are dedicated to helping children thrive and shine like the bright stars they are.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I started to build an audience on social media, it was not that great. There were many ups and downs. There were times when it felt like I was not reaching my target audience at all. In time and revamping my strategy, I started to see growth with consistency. I learned that when it comes to building a social media presence for your brand or anything, you must remove all distractions and remain focused. Once you grasp what works for you, things will become a lot smoother.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building in my market began with being authentic. People are looking for real-life events that they can relate to. In addition, they are looking for solutions that will work based on experience. As proof, I shared how I helped my daughter achieve academic success and provided proof of my experience. I understood what other parents were looking for. To help someone solve a problem, your experience and the results matter. It will help others become aware of you and what you do. Be yourself, and what you are searching for will find you.
