We were lucky to catch up with Amanda Evans recently and have shared our conversation below.
Amanda , appreciate you joining us today. Looking back, what’s an important lesson you learned at a prior job?
At my last job, I knew it would be my last. It was my final experience of trying to fit my creativity and ideas into a box that was never meant for me. Deep down, I always knew I wasn’t meant to fit in. I was meant to build something of my own. While that job didn’t align with my purpose, it did introduce me to core values like resilience, resourcefulness, and integrity. Ironically, those values weren’t fully reflected in that role, but they became the foundation of who I am as a business owner today.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’ve always loved fashion. Since high school, I knew I wanted to be a fashion stylist and I made it happen! I’ve styled for red carpets, music videos, and TV shows, working alongside well-known celebrity stylists. One pivotal moment in my career was when I was styling a music artist for a tour. I went into his closet to pack looks, and let’s just say…it was startling, haha. Before I could even pull outfits, I had to organize everything. In that process, I discovered a passion I never expected. From there, I started marketing myself as a Las Vegas Closet Organizer, merging my love for fashion with organization.
What sets me apart is my fashion background. I don’t just organize closets, I curate them. I create looks, provide a list of essential pieces to maximize wardrobe potential, and ensure every garment is handled with intention and care. I understand fashion, brands, and garment maintenance at a deep level, and I bring that expertise into every space I touch.
I’m most proud of my resilience. I quit my job with no safety net, sacrificing my lifestyle to build the one people see today and I have no regrets. That decision forced me to embrace grace, navigate depression, overcome health challenges, and unlearn past traumas, habits, and limiting beliefs. I’ve felt it all, and I’ve shaped it into something powerful. Now, I get to hold the hands of others through their own transitions. Whether it is physical, emotional, or mental, I am guiding them toward clarity, confidence, and a fresh start.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My reputation was built the moment I realized, I am the work. A great yogi once reminded me of this, and it changed everything. No one is hiring me just to fold and hang clothes. I am the experience. That realization fueled me, making me stand tall in my purpose. I was made on purpose, for a purpose.
In addition to what sets me apart is that I’m not just organizing. I’m pouring into people the same way I pour into myself. I approach this work with grace, kindness, and love. There’s a deep spiritual connection to what I do, because I know that for many, asking for help comes with feelings of shame or unworthiness. Some feel like they have to ‘deserve’ a service like mine, or they struggle to allow someone into their space. But I’m here to remind them: we are all just trying to walk each other home at the end of the day. My work is about so much more than organization. It’s about transformation, release, and creating space for something new.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective, and my favorite, strategy for growing my clientele has been word of mouth. There is so much power in the tongue and in kind words. My work is deeply personal. I’m in your space, your home, the most intimate parts of your life. When a client tells someone else that I made them feel great. That I gave them their time back, helped them enjoy quiet weekends, be more productive at work, or, even better, drop their shoulders and truly rest! That is everything!
I understand that most clutter isn’t just physical; it’s emotional. And when I help clear a space, I’m also helping clear energy, stress, and overwhelm. Clients feel that shift, and when they share that transformation with others, it becomes the most powerful recommendation I could ever ask for.
