We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris Bianchi. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris below.
Chris, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
When I started CB Entertainment, I had nothing but a dream. No money. No credit. No backing. No safety net. Just a relentless passion for music and an unwavering belief that I could carve out a place in an industry known for breaking people before it makes them. The Beginning: A Leap of Faith.
Like many who take the entrepreneurial plunge, I had no blueprint—just an idea and the sheer will to make it happen. There was no investor writing a check, no mentor opening doors, and no guarantee of success. But what I did have was an obsession with music, an understanding of how artists connect with fans, and a willingness to fail forward.
The early days were a mix of passion and chaos. I was cold-calling bands, networking at local shows, and figuring out the industry one mistake at a time. I said yes to every opportunity, even the ones that seemed impossible. I worked for free just to build relationships. I studied contracts, marketing strategies, and the way successful artists built their careers. Everything was trial and error. Sometimes more error than trial.CB Entertainment didn’t become what it is overnight. It was a slow burn—learning, evolving, and adapting to an industry that changes faster than most can keep up with.
I realized early that survival meant staying ahead of trends. From embracing digital marketing to understanding the power of streaming before it exploded, every move we made was calculated risk-taking. The industry wasn’t waiting for us to figure it out, so we had to move fast and learn even faster.
Over the years, we’ve expanded beyond management into label services, branding, and artist development. We’ve worked with some of the most iconic names in rock and metal while also breaking new talent into the industry. CB Entertainment has become a name artists trust—not because we had an easy road, but because we’ve fought for everything we’ve built.

Chris, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I’ve learned that no matter how much you plan, things will always change—sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. The key is adaptability. In this industry, you either evolve or get left behind. Every challenge, every unexpected turn has forced me to think fast, adjust, and keep moving forward. Planning is important, but flexibility is what keeps you in the game.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Share your actual experiences—both wins and losses. People relate to struggles just as much as success. Don’t sugarcoat things; talk about mistakes you’ve made, lessons you’ve learned, and what really works. Social media isn’t a one-way street. Reply to comments, ask questions, and have real conversations. The more you interact, the more people trust you. Everyone sees the highlight reels, but what about the grind? Share the real side of your journey—whether it’s brainstorming sessions, the creative process, or the struggles of building something from scratch.
