Ryan, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Booz Box is your new bartender in a box. We are here to make complex cocktails simple. By taking your favorite cocktails and bringing them directly to you in the form of a convenient bag-in-box – we are providing a solution within the $13 billion spirit based RTD beverage industry.
The story began as founders Ryan Provost & Norman Strobel got together during a hot summer day during the pandemic and decided to make a change within the beverage industry. The idea came together as the two were drinking Norman’s cocktails around the dinner table, a box format came to mind and Booz Box was born.
Booz Box provides value that will change the way we drink, serve and market cocktails. Our product line, our team and our attention to detail in the RTD market will highlight a new wave of entrepreneurial ingenuity that will serve as a catalyst for the market as a whole – with the United States at the forefront of a global movement.


Ryan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Ryan Provost and I am the co-founder & CEO of Booz Box Cocktails. I started in the CPG industry roughly five years ago when I started the business idea for Booz Box. There was immense development required to get the brand up and running and this is something that I tackled during the early stages of our startup.
We provide 1.75L bag-in-box cocktails as our main product line, while featuring three award-winning flavors developed by our CPO, Norman Strobel.
Booz Box provides a solution within the beverage industry as we provide spirit based ready-to-drink cocktails for the average consumer. Each flavor is provided within an eco-friendly boxed format, serving 14+ cocktails within each individual unit. We are all having fun and this is what we like to provide to consumers – all while enjoying a great tasting cocktail.
We differentiate ourselves from other RTDs by being offered in a convenient boxed format.
I am super proud to have made it this far into the business. We never thought in a million years we would be selling out products in stores, and now we are in 100+ stores in 6 different markets. WOW!
I want our followers to know that this brand is not just for us, but for them. We pride ourselves in community and equality.


Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
While going through our business development during the early stages of the business, we approached a significant road block which delayed our production. This road block was related to our manufacturing process. After developing our formulas and finalizing our packaging, we were just about ready for our first production run…so we thought. Until that day we reached out to our manufacturer to get the ball rolling, we received no response. A week passed by, no response. A month passed by, no response. It was at that time we had to pivot and find new distribution. Luckily we found a company local to us and eventually started handling bag-in-box. We got super lucky to find these guys, but they essentially saved us and our brand. We wouldn’t be here without them.


How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my business partner, Norman Strobel at a college frat party at the University of Rhode Island in 2008. We’ve been best friends since then, moved to Hoboken, NJ where we eventually started the idea for Booz Box.
