We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Boss Everline. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Boss below.
Alright, Boss thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so one thing we think people don’t talk about nearly enough is investments – either time or money. What’s one of the best or worst investments you’ve made and what did you learned from the experience?
c4 Energy. Stayed loyal to the brand for 10 years, brought in my business partner Kevin hart on an equity only deal (no upfront cash). Investment ended up being a unicorn and was a huge multiple, Now I continue to bring in talent and have a C-Suite title with the company additional to my forward facing value.
Boss, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Ron “Boss” Everline — Beyond the Gym: The Entrepreneurial Powerhouse
Ron “Boss” Everline is more than a world-renowned fitness trainer — he’s a dynamic entrepreneur, investor, and creative strategist who has built a business empire rooted in discipline, innovation, and strategic partnerships. While the gym has always been his foundation — his version of the golf course where deals are made, relationships are forged, and ideas come to life — Boss has expanded far beyond the walls of fitness.
As a savvy investor, Ron has strategically aligned himself with forward-thinking brands, holding stakes in companies like Pathwater, Therabody, Grin, and Goodles. His long-standing partnership with C4 Energy has not only elevated his brand but also reinforced his influence in the wellness and performance space. But his entrepreneurial spirit doesn’t stop there — Boss is a Managing Partner at Hartbeat Ventures (HBV), where he bridges the gap between talent and execution, helping founders turn ideas into scalable businesses.
One of his most innovative concepts is Financial Fitness — a campaign developed in partnership with J.P. Morgan Chase, where Boss has been a trusted collaborator for the past seven years. Just as he trains bodies to be strong and resilient, he encourages people to build financial strength by investing in their future, a philosophy that seamlessly ties personal growth to financial empowerment.
Boss’s reach is truly global. His clientele spans from Hollywood’s elite to high-net-worth individuals in the Middle East, reflecting his ability to connect across cultures and industries. His strategic mind doesn’t just serve his own ventures — he’s also a behind-the-scenes force for top-tier talent, helping incubate creative projects for partners like Qatar Airways through his work with Kevin Hart.
At the heart of it all, Ron “Boss” Everline is more than a trainer — he’s a connector, an innovator, and a builder of brands and businesses. His ability to merge the worlds of fitness, finance, and creative ideation sets him apart as a leader who understands that success, like training, requires consistency, strategy, and relentless effort.
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
Never be afraid to get your hands dirty and get clients the old fashioned way. I used to go out and hit the streets and hand flyers to individuals in an attempt to get people to attend my class. I spent days handing out flyers for only one individual to show up to my class. She showed up everyday and supported me, and she would eventually tell me I changed her life. Through fitness she was able to lose the necessary weight and give birth to her baby healthily. More so than trying to always do something over the top, stick to the basics and connect directly with your consumer.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Lead by example always. Whatever principles you have in place, don’t be a hypocrite. You can’t come into the gym with a bad attitude and then be upset when your team follows your lead. If you allow for gossip and drama your team will follow suite. Come into the business everyday with good energy and in good spirits and watch how people follow behind.
