I’ve always admired the artistry and transformative power of hairstyling, and over the years, I’ve honed my skills to blend old-school salon traditions with a modern-day flair.

At my salon, I provide a luxury, professional, and welcoming experience for my clients. Have you ever had to pivot?

There was a pivotal moment in my career when I realized that I wasn’t fully walking in my purpose. While I had been a hairstylist for over 10 years, I found myself juggling my passion for beauty with a night job at a nursing home. The job wasn’t fulfilling, and it left me feeling drained, but at the time, I thought it was necessary for financial stability. Deep down, I knew I wanted more—I wanted to pour my energy into growing my beauty business and creating a life that aligned with my passion.

The real turning point came when I started focusing on Silk Press services. I saw an opportunity to specialize and refine my brand rather than trying to offer every type of hair service. I also began investing in content creation, showing up online, and marketing myself in a way that attracted the right clients. That shift not only helped me book more appointments but also made me realize that I could build the life I truly wanted if I committed to my vision.

Building my audience on social media has been a journey of consistency, authenticity, and strategy. In the beginning, I wasn’t as intentional—I would post here and there, but I wasn’t showing up in a way that truly reflected my brand. That changed when I realized that social media wasn’t just a tool for showcasing my work; it was a powerful way to connect with potential clients, educate my audience, and establish myself as an expert in my niche.

I also made an effort to engage more, responding to comments, answering DMs, and making my page feel like a welcoming space for women who care about their hair.
