Hi Gina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.

Struggling to decide on a theme for your next event?! Here are the top trending themes I am seeing as we continue into 2025- pearls and prosecco, a tini bit older, tying the knot (bows), denim and diamonds, western Dolly, and anything with a twist of disco. These fun themes can be applied to birthdays, bridal showers and bachelorette parties.

The Party Bin launched in January 2020. What started as a creative outlet, has now evolved into one of the top event planning and balloon businesses in Harford County. The Party Bin sources, styles and designs beautiful bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays and more. By curating one of a kind events, the host can enjoy their day, while guests will be left raving. Our attention to detail and eye catching balloon displays are sure to take your event to the next level. The Party Bin is a trusted small business amongst residents and other businesses in the area. With almost 55% of our current client base being repeat customers, this speaks volumes to our business. We have had the pleasure of working with 14 businesses along Main Street alone. By developing relationships with other local, small businesses; it has allowed us to collaborate and create cohesive elements with other talented artists. After five years, The Party Bin still cherishes being part of so many of your special events and milestones.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Like many other small businesses, we too felt the pain of inflation. We saw a decline in clients wanting full event planning; but, rather requesting balloon garlands and backdrops only. By focusing more on the balloon side of business, it allowed our quality of creations to improve rapidly. It has now become the stand out feature of The Party Bin. Quality balloon garlands that catch your eye and bring your theme to life is what we pride ourselves on.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

By creating a strong presence on social media, The Party Bin has become a well known, small business in Harford County. Consistent and eye catching content on both Instagram and Facebook has allowed us to gain 3k followers. Promoting through local mom Facebook groups, networking, and collaborating with other small businesses has also afforded us incredible growth. Word of mouth is powerful.
