Stories are one of the most powerful ways to learn because they allow us to understand at a deeper level. One of the most important things an business owner can do is help their clients win and so we wanted to create a space where the community can learn from each other’s experiences of how they’ve helped their clients succeed.

I have so many wonderful clients it is hard to pick. I get to work with some of the most interesting people and be part of their journey building the life they want for themselves. I’ve helped university professors buy homes and plan their finances for having a baby. I’ve helped someone buy a beachfront property in Africa. I get to help surfers travel the world chasing waves. Or just sweet couples who want to have financial security and not be so stressed out. But one client in particular stands out. I am not allowed to say names of my clients, legally and as part of my own policies. But I have permission from a particular long time friend and client to share some of their story. Read more>>

My client, Alexis, struggles with PCOS, a hormonal disorder that causes hirsutism. Hirsutism is a condition that results in excessive hair growth in women like the face, chest, and back. Alexis’ problem area with hirsutism is her face, specifically her chin. She would spend over an hour every week trying to remove the hair with tweezers, would avoid pictures, and miss out on social events due to being self conscious and embarrassed of her facial hair. She was hesitant to get waxed because she didn’t know what to expect. I reassured her the process is a lot quicker and the results last longer due to removing hair from the root. Read more>>

This “customer” success story is actually about the company where I’ve been working full-time for the past six years. In 2019, I joined a field marketing organization (FMO) that serves insurance agents, starting as a web designer. Over time, my role has expanded, and I now lead as the Multimedia Manager. Read more>>

Casey inspired me to take “customer success” to the next level. We provide a straightforward service.
“We maintain fitness centers, mostly apartments and hotels requiring regular quarterly maintenance.” That’s what I say when people ask me what I do.
I met with Casey and he was comparing me with his current provider. It’s pretty apples to apples price-wise, and he said “how much are your diagnostic fees if something breaks unexpectedly?” And we were down to this miniscule $20 difference in fees. Then it dawned on me. Why the hell are we even charging “emergency diagnostic service fees at all!?” Aren’t they paying us to keep there machines from breaking down, ever! Read more>>

At Starry Lane Bakery, we help customers create core memories every day—moments that change lives. As San Diego’s only dedicated Top 10 Allergen-Free Bakery, we provide a truly safe space, free from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and mustard.
One of my most memorable guests has a severe egg allergy, and the kids have allergies, too. The first visit was filled with skepticism. I greeted them warmly and explained our bakery’s allergen-free commitment, listing all the top 10 allergens we never use. Still, there was hesitation. “Are you sure there are no eggs?” came the cautious question. Read more>>

I represented a seller client in 2020, during the Covid pandemic and sold her property in less than two weeks by using virtual tour technology, proper pricing and marketing. The buyer was allowed to submit a letter to the seller explaining his reason for buying this particular property. This is back when “love letters” were legal. The seller loved the buyers story and had decided to accept his offer over higher offers. The seller was pleased with the sale price and his story which lead to a successful closing. Over four years later, I received a call from the buyer and the agent he had used had since passed away but he was looking to sell the property. He saved a picture of my real estate sign and called my number on it. Read more>>

When M.L., a highly accomplished serial entrepreneur, first came to me, he had already built an extraordinary life—high-level success, wealth, and influence. He had access to experiences most men could only dream of, yet in the realm of sex and intimacy, he felt like he was still playing small. Despite outward confidence, deep down, he carried uncertainty about whether he was truly commanding the sexual experiences he desired or if he was just going through the motions. Read more>>

Appreciate you for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
The biggest risks I’ve taken have been starting my business after being suddenly laid off while simultaneously sinking all of my savings into renovating a vintage travel trailer into my tiny dream home, both of which occurred during the 2020-21 part of the COVID 19 pandemic. Read more>>

A year ago, my mom faced one of the toughest seasons of her life. After experiencing unexpected health complications, she was put on medication and steroid shots that caused her to lose all of her hair in just three days. The sudden loss deeply affected her, leaving her feeling discouraged and struggling with her confidence. Shortly after, she underwent a major surgery, which further prolonged her hair regrowth journey. Read more>>
