We were lucky to catch up with Manases Elias Freile Cepeda recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Manases Elias thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Since I was very young I have always been a movie lover and when I watched disney or nickelodeon, all these shows with teenage casts I loved them and I have always dreamed of one day being part of a very famous cast.

Manases Elias , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I decided to take my first steps in this industry when I was 20 years old, I went on vacation to London to take an English course and decided to take acting classes, so I ended up participating in some filming that took place. Since then I fell more in love with the artistic world and every trip I went I was looking for acting opportunities in which I could participate, also in full pandemic I started to read, to want to learn more about the subject and everything was a little easier because they were remote studies, I was at that time in new york, I began to expand my knowledge in acting, I took more classes and played other roles in different movies, although many things were very limiting for me, mainly the language, I consider myself a resilient person, I never give up, I like to excel and give the best of me in everything. I feel very proud of this and of the recognition I have achieved with films like The Coock up and Rock on! I am also very passionate about photography and production, my relatives told me that I could also take modeling as a hobby, since I had good photographic record and I noticed the passion with which I took my pictures in beautiful landscapes or spots that I consider unforgettable I like to portray myself in those moments, but when I consider that I connect with the environment …. So when you receive good reviews of your work, it is really rewarding. I am currently learning a lot from the hand of great friends producers with a role as a production assistant at Paradigm Productions, LLC, I believe that learning from excellent teachers will give me more knowledge than I have acquired so far and will give me the opportunity to be part of great productions.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

I think of it as the ability to bring to life ideas, emotions and perspectives that might otherwise remain on an emotional level. It is a privilege to be able to transform thoughts and feelings into something tangible that not only allows me to express myself, but also to connect with others on a deep level. Seeing how a work can inspire, move or even challenge someone is an incomparable experience. This whole creative process in itself is enriching; each project I have participated in has been an opportunity to explore, learn and grow both personally and professionally.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

For me, the constant desire to learn and adjust to the advances that occur over time. I consider myself a person who loves to learn and be part of new things that can enrich me and capture moments or discover talents also for me is an impulse to want to be better every day in this journey.
