Alright, Kimyette thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

My name is Kimyette Jenkins. Owner, Founder and CEO of Kim Michelle Styling LLC. Styling Is more than a career for me. It’s a lifestyle that I love to gift others with having a luxury style, an able to inspire and provide an experience that styling to can be and ” Where Style Knows No Barriers”.

I started styling my senior year in high school at the age of seventeen, when I started my summer job at Sears in Pecanland Mall, Monroe LA. Inspired by television shows like That So Raven and many other Disney channel shows, I was eager and excited to share my knowledge with other just how easy styling can be. Taking on the initiative of taking on extra task, from remodeling the bedding departments, styling mannequins and creating systems that made it effective ;and easy to create new looks.

Shortly after my styling career at Sears, I moved to Miami, Florida to study fashion at Miami International University of Art and Design, and the following year moving to Dallas, Texas to finish my course studying fashion at The Art Institute of Dallas, making Dallas my home for the past sixteen years where I now reside.

Upon moving Dallas, Texas I have held several styling positions and have had the pleasure to style for major retail companies, such as Sports Authority, Dillard’s, Talbots, Gap and Macy’s, horning in on major key concepts of taking design and style to the next level. From creating an element of style that has set me apart from my competitor.

With my extension knowledge, training and resume, I am more than well equipped to arise and meet the needs of clients in the following area: interior, wardrobe, personal styling coaching, brand development, marketing.

My skill set allows me to meet and provide quality services to abroad spectrum of clients in the day to day needs of creating a style ” Where Style Know No Barriers”.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Kim Michelle Styling was created in 2016 to bridge the gap between customers and the lack of composing styles and designs they truly desired. To Inspire and create a passion in those who long to have an appeasing wardrobe. To help those overcome their fashion fears do’s and don’ts. To bring out the inner them to create an outstanding glow, from their overall interior decor as well as wardrobe that they never envisioned themselves having.Creating, designing and styling is more than a way of life for Kim Michelle Styling. It is how we view, see feel and live life. It’s our unique ability to sculpt, create, and design that allows us to go beyond the boundaries of the ordinary, to transpire something unique that’s tailored for those that crave raw undiluted style.Our foundation is found and based upon which creativity sees no boundaries or limits exceeding the limitation allowing the vision ,the looks , design and styles to be more than an illusion . Thus a ready waiting to be ennoble on style. Giving it life in the form of a tone, walk, but more important a voice. Allowing no suppressing of wealth of styles and the form it takes on. As our style ,design, looks allowed us to standout to be different , to boldly design , eliminating all unnecessary elements , An essential part of creating is not being afraid to fail, but see a creative canvas to design, create , sculpt new looks and styles, Possessing that a finally someone who dares and raven in being the concept of in not being boring but red. As our goal is Is to mend and merge the gap that is created when one is not fashioned savvy or lack certain knowledge to compose or curate fashion, styles and designs one desires. Thus, overall creating styles and looks that is well balanced and uniquely tailored to the customer sense of design. Allowing the customer to experience styling as a unique transformation that take place in the mind. One that forms a connection with the eyes to transpire a design that’s ready to be created and vividly lived. The purpose is to help those who have not always had or have a sense of composer in the art of styling. Whether it is fashion or interior styling. To provide quality resources and assistance in creating well balanced curated styles and designs, where one can be pleased with the styles that have been carefully selected and curated. To cater to those who lack a sense of styling. Creating interior designs that is crafted in their eye of beauty and style. Not just one-time services that can and will extend for months of time depending on a customer need. To ensure that one has access to style that has been curate for the tone and which their style speaks. But most important our agenda is to create a wardrobe or interior style that overall can create or service several purposes. These are styles and services that can easily be transitioned as many as times as the client sees fit. Yet still servicing or presenting a style that can be implicated from season to season or year to year. One that the customer can continually enjoy over time, that allows them to have endless curated, designs and style “Where Style Knows No Barriers”. To leave our clients always feelings self satisfying , and creating an rewarding, aesthetically pleasing experience with our looks design and overall style. Allowing them to experience elegant ,luxury authentic ,unique high quality innovative styles through not holding back on our creations , use of element, technique and the aura that makes us who we are . When our clients look in the mirror in they smile we get to have our ah ha moment as they realized just how amazing they can look and feel and this is more so the reason to choose our services as we offer poise a tone, voice, walk of elegant culture and elite society that allows, clients to see and view themselves as royal, that reign supreme luxury in their everyday lives allowing one self esteem, tone and confidence to ennoble one to feel royal and lavish about themselves through wardrobe, personal or interior styling and custom designs as well as looks . Giving them voice and style that is of elite hierarchy in an atmosphere to indulge of royalty .

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

That designing, styling is like a blank canvas where the artist is allowed to run wild and explore a lot of different methods and not limiting themselves to one form or art, as with a blank canvas the range is endless ,and there so much to do and work with. This allows me to truly have an open mind and go all out for my clients ,but the canvas is an open field which gives me that advantage ,to be able to take something from a 2d form into a 3d form , from an ideal , a thought to existing outside the mind to overall bringing it to reality, and having a client to have a wow moment from the overall process from all of that and seeing a smile as the end result or the overall price is truly priceless.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

I think the great resources any artist in their creative journey wish they may have known, is truly having that overall self-confidence. That has been my greatest key to my success is overall knowing and believing that I am capable and has what it takes to be a great artist and stylist, and that no means I haven’t heard the right yes yet and to keep trying. No also does not mean denied but delayed and that just give you more time to work on and perfect your craft. Overall confidence is the best key.
