We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Comis recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Nicole, thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. How did it all start?
My coaching business was born from my personal story.
In my past life, I had a very successful career in the mortgage business. I loved my job, the company I worked for, and my incredible boss.
I was making great money and winning incentive trips.
I had a beautiful home and drove my dream car.
I enjoyed nice dinners out and had a fun, active social life.
I truly believed I’d spend my entire career in the mortgage industry, growing with this amazing family-owned company.
But when the housing market crashed, so did I. HARD!
Everything I had built—my income, my career, my happiness, and my identity—came crashing down with it.
Looking back, I can see that I had been living on autopilot—so focused on growing my business and chasing achievements that I unconsciously sacrificed my personal dreams along the way.
That’s why I’m so passionate about helping entrepreneurs and driven professionals achieve their biggest career goals without sacrificing their personal lives. Because success isn’t just about external accomplishments—it’s about creating a life that is deeply fulfilling from the inside out.
Today, I help high achievers break free from that same cycle—to go after their big goals and dreams without burning out, neglecting their health, or missing out on relationships–all the things that matter most.
That’s why my mission as a coach is to help my clients create their most fulfilling lives—happy, healthy, and successful.
Because life isn’t just about what you achieve—it’s about creating a life you love, where you can truly thrive, both professionally and personally.

Nicole, love having you share your insights with us. Tell us a little more. How did you know that you wanted to be a coach?
I started working with my first life coach in 2003, right when my career in the mortgage industry was taking off.
I watched a friend and co-worker completely transform in front of me. I had no idea what she was doing, but I knew I wanted whatever she had. She was working with a life coach.
So, I hired my first coach—and it changed my life.
Back then, I was the girl who looked in the mirror and only saw what was wrong with me.
Coaching helped me see myself differently—to value myself, love myself, and step into my full potential. It was the beginning of my self-growth journey, learning how to set boundaries, create goals, and push myself outside my comfort zone.
Fast forward five years after the housing market crash—I had been feeling completely unfulfilled in my career for years, and I knew I needed to figure out what was next.
That’s when I started working with another coach I met through my local Chamber of Commerce—a woman who became a dear friend and mentor. A few sessions in, she looked at me and said:
“Nicole, you want to be a coach.”
She was right.
That moment changed everything.
I enrolled in my first coach training program and started the next chapter of my life.
There are a lot of coaches out there. Tell us a little bit about what you do, the problems you solve, and what makes you different.
For over a decade, I’ve been coaching high achievers, entrepreneurs, and professionals who have built successful careers but still feel stuck, unfulfilled, or held back.
Many of my clients come to me because they:
Are burnt out, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own happiness.
Have big goals but struggle with self-doubt, fear, or limiting beliefs.
Feel like they’re constantly pushing themselves but not fully enjoying their success.
Want more than just achievements—they want to life an incredibly fulfilling life.
I help my clients rewire their subconscious beliefs, break through mental and emotional barriers, and create success from a place of confidence, clarity, and alignment.
What Makes My Coaching Different
I had been coaching for about seven years, watching my clients achieve amazing goals, but it often felt like they were working so hard for their results, pushing against something deeper.
I felt the same in my own life. It was like an internal tug-of-war. Achieving goals took a lot of motivation and, honestly, self-manipulation. I felt there had to be an easier way.
That’s when I started learning more about the mind—specifically the subconscious.
I had always been fascinated by beliefs and how people think, so I started diving deeper into the science behind it. I learned how our thoughts, beliefs, and fears are deeply rooted in our unconscious programming—how our belief systems shape everything, from our confidence and decision-making to our ability to take risks and fully step into our potential.
And that’s when it clicked. Real, lasting transformation doesn’t just happen through mindset shifts at the conscious level, it happens when you reprogram how you think–your subconscious mind.
I knew this was the missing piece.
So, I got certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy®—powerful modalities designed to help people rewrite their unconscious programming and create lasting change.
And once I integrated these tools into my coaching, my clients started experiencing deeper, faster transformations—not because they were working harder, but because we were finally clearing the mental and emotional barriers at the root cause.
Instead of constantly battling limiting beliefs, we address them at the core and create empowering beliefs that align with what my clients actually want to create.
That’s why all my coaching programs combine deep subconscious work with powerful, strategic one-on-one coaching—because coaching should be about true transformation, not just hustling to check another goal off a list.
What are you most proud of?
What I’m most proud of isn’t just the tangible achievements—it’s who my clients become in the process.
Watching my clients go from stressed, burnt out, and stuck to confident, thriving, and truly fulfilled is why I do this work. Seeing someone completely rewire their mindset and step into the best version of themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Because at the end of the day, success isn’t just about working harder—it’s about aligning who you are with the life you want to create.

Have you ever had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots of my life was one I already shared—the housing market crash.
Looking back, the challenges I faced in my mortgage career turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me. It forced me to step back, reevaluate, and ultimately create a life that aligned with who I truly am.
Because sometimes, the pivots we fear the most are the ones that lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.
Last March, I had another huge pivot that changed everything.
All of my clients completed their contracts at the exact same time, and in one week, all my income was gone.
To make things worse, I had a huge potential client lined up for a major project, but at the last minute, he decided to go in a different direction.
It was painful. I cried for days.
But even through the pain, I had deep faith that I was being guided to something bigger.
And I was!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The stories that come to mind are the ones I already shared—two major moments in my life when everything seemed to “crash” overnight.
I believe resilience isn’t about avoiding setbacks—it’s about how you respond to them.
And in both circumstances, I came out on the other side stronger, more aligned, and more in my power than ever before.
It’s trusting that even in the darkest moments, you’re being led somewhere greater. It’s having the courage to step back, look deep, get honest, and pivot.
And it’s knowing that no matter what happens, you have the strength to rebuild, reimagine, and rise.
