We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiy Jones a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tiy, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about how you went about setting up your own practice and if you have any advice for professionals who might be considering starting their own?
I decided to start my own Womb Wellness Consultant practice a few months after; I started my fibroid management/healing journey in 2018. I discovered various holistic womb wellness methods and gravitated towards V-Steaming (Yoni Steams) since I had a pleasurable experience, and it made sense at the time. The next step was to get a deeper understanding of how V-steaming works and how it could help with my conditions and others. I registered at Steamychick Insitute and received my certification as a Peristeam Facilitator; my practice is an E-commerce. Ladies can steam from the comfort of their homes. The one thing I would consider doing differently is having a bigger marketing budget and virtual assistant. The advice I would give to a young professional is to have a plan, do research, be you and most importantly get a mentor.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’m Tiy Jones founder/owner of My Womb Wellness Social Enterprise, LLC. Why, did I choose to create a Social Enterprise- It’s a business with social objectives to bridge the gap between women and girls who suffer monthly from menstrual pain and Fibroids. Secondly, portions of the proceeds solf from my products and services go towards my Non-Profit “Her Womb Wellness,” which gives free energetic womb testing to women and girls locally and nationally. In addition, to hosting an annually 2k skate event for Fibroids called “Move Your Body.” I am a Womb Wellness Consultant and Peristeam Facilitator V-Steam Practitioner. You have Fibroids or cysts; I got you. You have with horrible cramps- I got you. You have a heavy menstrual-I got you. Do you need guidance on Womb Wellness Care; I got you. I provide solutions, education, and tips focusing on herbs, v-steaming, and mindful eating, just to name a few. I stumbled into the holistic industry by seeking natural ways to heal my own chronic womb conditions- fibroids and other things. I would also like to call myself an influencer since I love sharing natrual products and services. This company is woman-owned and formulated with you in mind. A Happy Womb equals a Happy You.
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Omg, where do I start? The knowledge I have now, I wish I would have known years ago. I am unapologetic about the consciousness I share in this space. This could take a while, jk, but seriously. Let me start with; I had to unlearn the traditional family foods I was eating. Plus, dryer sheets have synthetic chemicals that mimic our natural estrogen hormone, disrupting our uterus eco-system. The beauty products I was using, menstrual cycles are not supposed to be painful, I have holistic options for treating chronic womb conditions and herbs are healing. O, wait for one more. This might be TMI, but brown blood is not normal; I had to unlearn. There is so much about womb wellness we do not know. How it all started; Simple- Menstrual Pain and Annual Women’s Wellness check-ups with no explanation from the gynecologist about the horrible pain I was experiencing every month on my cycle.
