Janel and Tori, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine—it was always the end goal I had in mind. It wasn’t just about owning a business—it was about building something that had purpose, passion, and a genuine impact.
I believe everything happens for a reason, and when the opportunity to launch LuxeHaus came about, it felt like the perfect time to bring that vision to life. All the experiences and lessons I had learned over the years, along with my desire to create something meaningful, naturally led me to this point. It was always a goal I was working toward, and the journey to get here was driven by that long-term vision of starting something that I could be truly proud of

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into the industry during an unexpected time—right after I graduated from the University of Arizona, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many of my peers, my post-graduation plans were disrupted by the circumstances. However, throughout that period, I found myself increasingly fascinated by how powerful social media had become for connecting people, brands, and businesses. The way it bridged gaps and created opportunities in a time of uncertainty really piqued my interest in pursuing a career in the industry.
Over the next few years, I immersed myself in learning the ins and outs of social media and digital marketing. It was a steep but exciting learning curve. Eventually, I had the opportunity to meet Tori, who has since become not only my business partner but a lifelong friend. Working alongside someone who shares the same passion and vision for the industry has made the journey of building LuxeHaus incredibly rewarding. I truly believe that our shared commitment and dynamic partnership have been key to making this venture enjoyable and successful.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
We’ve built our social media presence by being consistent and intentional about sharing what our influencers are up to. Recently, we hired a social media coordinator to help us stay on top of posting regularly—whether that’s showcasing recent brand collaborations, events, or highlighting new photos from our influencers. We’re also incredibly grateful to have influencers who tag us in their posts or give us appreciation shoutouts. Their support and recognition mean the world to us, and it really helps us maintain an engaged and authentic presence.
My advice for growing your social media is simple: stay active and be thoughtful with your posts and interactions. It’s all about connecting with your community and being consistent in showing up, whether it’s through meaningful content or engagement.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
We’re constantly looking for fresh influencers to represent, connecting with brands that are deeply involved in the influencer marketing space, or partnering with agencies for specific opportunities. We believe in being proactive and flexible, always open to new collaborations to ensure we’re providing the best possible results for everyone we work with. As a business that thrives in the digital space, we’ve been able to tap into the power of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, where we not only share our work but also engage with a broader audience by offering valuable content, behind-the-scenes insights, and interactive elements. This approach has helped us organically build trust and foster relationships with potential clients.
Additionally, the power of referrals and word-of-mouth through our existing network has been incredibly effective. By creating strong, authentic relationships with clients and partners, we’ve seen that our satisfied clients often lead to new opportunities—whether through recommendations or direct introductions. These personalized connections, coupled with our consistent digital presence, have been key to attracting the right clients who align with our values and goals.
