We recently connected with Zahkia Morgan and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Zahkia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
As a business owner, I love the freedom and impact of running Be Epic LLC, but I’d be lying if I said I never wondered about having a regular 9-to-5 job. One night, after juggling multiple client deadlines and troubleshooting last-minute issues, exhaustion hit me hard. Wouldn’t it be easier to just clock out at 5 PM?
But as I sat there, I reminded myself why I started—freedom, ownership, and making a real impact. Challenges come with the territory, but so do the rewards. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Zakhia Morgan, CEO of Be Epic LLC, where we provide virtual assistant services designed to help entrepreneurs and businesses streamline operations and grow. My passion for organization and problem-solving led me to create a service that handles the behind-the-scenes work so clients can focus on what they do best.
We specialize in virtual assistance, social media management, branding, web development, SEO, and customer service. What sets us apart is our personalized approach—tailoring solutions to fit each client’s unique needs.
I’m most proud of the impact we’ve made, helping businesses scale efficiently. At Be Epic LLC, we don’t just support—we strategize, innovate, and help our clients succeed.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been a combination of strategic networking, leveraging social media, and providing exceptional service that leads to strong word-of-mouth referrals.
Building relationships with entrepreneurs and small business owners—both online and in-person—has been key. I actively engage in industry groups, attend networking events, and collaborate with other professionals to expand visibility. Social media has also played a huge role; sharing valuable content, showcasing client success stories, and demonstrating expertise has helped attract and retain clients.
However, the biggest driver has been delivering high-quality, personalized service. When clients see real results, they naturally refer others. Consistency, professionalism, and a solutions-driven approach have made Be Epic LLC a trusted partner for businesses looking to grow.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media was a mix of consistency, authenticity, and strategic engagement. I started by identifying my ideal clients—entrepreneurs and small business owners—and creating content that directly addressed their pain points. Sharing industry insights, time-saving tips, and client success stories helped establish credibility and attract interest.
Engagement was just as important as content. I made it a point to interact with followers, respond to comments, and participate in relevant groups to build connections. Collaborating with other businesses and leveraging word-of-mouth referrals also helped expand my reach.
For those just starting, my advice is simple: be consistent, provide value, and engage with your audience genuinely. Social media isn’t just about selling—it’s about building relationships and positioning yourself as a trusted resource.
