We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lisette Solares. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lisette below.
Hi Lisette, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I’m Liz Solares, 40 years old, and my path into the world of books has been an adventure of self-discovery. A few years ago, while searching for a moment of disconnection from my daily routine, I found that making bracelets brought me peace and sparked my creativity. That sense of well-being led me to explore other practices like meditation and yoga, but it wasn’t until I found the missing piece: the @30Libros reading club.
I have always been fascinated by books—I would ask for them as gifts, visit bookstores with excitement, and collect titles on my shelves. However, I constantly postponed reading, telling myself that I should use that time to tackle work tasks. I didn’t realize what I was missing.
When I joined 30 Libros, personal development reading club, my perspective completely changed. One of the first books I read was Your Success is Inevitable by Maïté Issa, and with it, a transformation in my life began. I learned that dedicating just 20 minutes a day to reading was enough to integrate this habit meaningfully and consciously. More than just learning, I grasped two essential lessons: we deserve time to disconnect, and our well-being should always be a priority.
Reading, which had been dormant in my life for years, blossomed once again. What started as a goal of one book per month quickly turned into an average of three to four books monthly, depending on their length. But beyond the numbers, the most valuable part has been connecting with each story and experiencing the impact books have had on my personal growth.
As Raquel Pérez beautifully states in her book Enciende tu luz:
“Sometimes, while you’re reading, a magical atmosphere is created, and you feel like you’re receiving a message that deeply resonates with you.”
That is exactly how I feel every time I open a book. Because reading isn’t just turning pages—it’s encountering ideas, stories, and, most importantly, rediscovering parts of ourselves that we may have forgotten.
That’s why one of my greatest motivations is to inspire more people to discover the power of reading and the well-being it can bring to their lives. For me, books have been great teachers—endless sources of learning and safe havens where I always find answers. I hope that by sharing my passion, more people will be encouraged to open a book and find in its pages a journey of growth, enjoyment, and self-discovery.

Lisette, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Liz Solares, a literary content creator and a firm believer in the power of books to transform lives. My journey into this world began as a personal quest—I was looking for a way to disconnect from the daily hustle, and I found in books an endless source of learning and well-being.
Over time, this passion evolved into my mission: to inspire more people to read with intention and discover the incredible benefits that books can bring to their lives.
I specialize in literary content creation, collaborating with brands, authors, and bookstores to promote reading in a creative and engaging way. My work includes book reviews, recommendations, book clubs, and discussion spaces through my segment Cafecito Lector.
What Sets Me Apart?
I love reading books that are not always trending but are truly worth discovering. I enjoy diving into classics, fiction, and essays—especially those written by female authors and focused on gender-related themes. My goal is to create a space where every story resonates, inspires critical thinking, and opens doors to new perspectives.
What Am I Most Proud Of?
One of my biggest achievements has been becoming part of the 30 Libros team, a platform dedicated to promoting reading as a tool for personal development. Recently, I also joined De Museo as a Moderator for a Virtual Book Club, a space I am sure will allow me to lead meaningful literary discussions and impact many readers on their journey. Additionally, I am incredibly proud to be part of communities like Bold Journey and Canvas Rebel Magazine.
What Do I Want People to Know About My Work?
More than just recommending books, my purpose is to help more people fall in love with reading, discover new ideas, and use literature as a powerful source of knowledge. Whether through social media content, literary conversations, or brand collaborations, every project I undertake is driven by my passion for reading, with the strong belief that books have the power to change lives.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
One of the books that marked a before and after in my life is Hello Fears by Michelle Poler. It inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and connect more with my community.
Before reading it, I avoided making reels because speaking in front of the camera made me feel insecure. However, after finishing the book, I decided to take the first step and recorded my first reel, where I talked about Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. Since then, I haven’t stopped.
Today, I feel more confident in what I do, and thanks to my consistency and passion for books, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with brands that share my love for reading.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding part of creating content is building a community where we can learn together and open conversations about topics that often go unnoticed.
I firmly believe that books are a powerful vehicle for expanding our mindset, challenging beliefs, and fostering a more open and reflective perspective on the world around us. Through reading, we can develop greater empathy and respect, not only for others but also for our natural and animal environment.
