Alright, Poonam thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?

Every photoshoot has its own story, but some leave a lasting impression on your heart. One such moment came during a maternity session that I will never forget.

A lovely client reached out to me for her maternity shoot. Due to some personal and health reasons, she booked the session close to her due date, leaving little room for flexibility in rescheduling. We set the date, hoping for the best—but nature had other plans. When the day arrived, it was freezing cold, with snow covering the ground and black ice making movement a challenge.

Despite the tough conditions, my client showed up with her radiant spirit, her whole family including mom, and her brother for support. From the very start, I knew it was my role not just to capture her beauty but to ensure she felt safe, comfortable, and confident throughout the session.

As we began, I took extra care to scout out the safest and most picturesque spots that didn’t require much movement on the icy terrain. I adjusted my equipment and angles to work within a smaller area, ensuring we could capture a variety of shots without compromising her safety.

She brought 3 beautiful outfits for the session. Between shots, I encouraged her to bundle up with blankets, which her family helped hold close to her. I also kept checking in with her, asking her to pause for a break or warm up.

We spent two hours in the cold, braving the snow and ice. Despite the freezing temperature, she was up for anything. She was an absolute warrior—glowing, graceful, and determined. Together, we created beautiful, heartfelt images—a testament to her strength and the love surrounding her during this special time.

Looking back, this experience wasn’t just about the photos we took—it was about being there for my client when she needed someone to guide her through the challenges. It reminded me why I love what I do: helping people freeze extraordinary moments in time, even when the conditions are less than perfect.

For those who may not know me, I’m a passionate photographer dedicated to helping families, couples, and individuals preserve their most precious memories through beautiful, timeless imagery. My journey into photography began in one of the most transformative seasons of my life—with the birth of my son.

Like many parents, I wanted to capture every smile, milestone, and fleeting moment. Armed with a basic camera and a deep desire to document his life, I dove into photography. I taught myself through hours of YouTube tutorials and hands-on practice, learning to master manual settings and work with natural light. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into a career focused on serving others and telling their unique stories.

I specialize in maternity, newborn, event, and portrait photography. Each type of session requires a different approach, and I’ve honed my skills to meet the unique needs of every client, whether it’s creating a serene environment for a new mom or capturing the lively energy of a family gathering.
