We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Niko Tucci a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Niko , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I am a film actor. I was born in Bulgaria. Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming an actor. I loved watching all kinds of films, but my main interest was in action films. I was interested not only in the fight scenes, but also in the behavior of the actors and how they embody their roles. At the age of 13, I started training in Taekwondo and martial arts. At a much later stage in my life, I started studying acting, and then combined it with martial arts. I got into cinema seventeen years ago with a small role in the film Absentia (season 1). At that time, I was very excited because it was my first participation in such a project. After that, I had several small participations in television series. That’s how my career in cinema began. Today, I can say that my career as an actor continues in a good direction. In recent years, I have had the pleasure of acting in productions such as Star Wars (Rogue One), Expendables-2, Shantaram, The Greatest Beer Run Ever, Alien Earth, The Night Agent, White Lotus (season-3) and many other films and series.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

We learn throughout our earthly journey. Life lessons show us a lot. Like me, every person has difficulties and obstacles that they have to go through in their life. These are the things that build me as a strong person. I learned to be persistent, not to give up in the face of difficulties, to fight and stand firm in my life. If a person wants to climb up their own ladder of life, they must learn and know that nothing is impossible. With faith, honesty, perseverance, strong will, kindness and investment in themselves, everything is possible. Difficulties cannot and should not be a barrier in a person’s life. This built me ​​as a strong person

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

It was a long process in which I did not put any specific effort. Everything happened over time by itself. I like and love my work and profession as an actor. I enjoy every moment I am on the set, the different locations, the different roles in the films. I decided that I wanted to share these good moments of my experiences in my work process with my followers and people on social networks through my profile because I wanted to make them part of this and show a small part of the art of filmmaking. I started sharing my photos and videos from the work process in various film projects with my participation. That’s how I understood and saw that the people who follow me on social media and networks like me and are interested in what I do. Over the years, more and more people began to follow me, like me and be interested in my work as an actor. Do what you like, share it with people and the result will come sooner or later.
