We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Audrianna Angeletti. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Audrianna below.
Audrianna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?
During my childhood, one of the first beauty services I received (aside from haircuts) was a manicure. It was always an instant pick me up and confidence boost even as young girl. As I got older I started getting acrylics and it was one of those things my mom would always treat me to, so I stayed with a fresh set of acrylics ever since I can remember.
Fast forward to October of 2022, the day I moved to Florida from New Hampshire I ripped my entire nail off unpacking my boxes out of the car. I ordered some basic nail tools and drill from Amazon to keep them presentable while I was waiting for the nail to grow back. I remember the first set of acrylics I did on my 9 nails was no comparison to the work I’m capable of now. But, something about it felt so right.
I’ve always taken a particular liking to the beauty industry and just art in general. It was only a few months/makeshift nail sets later I decided to enroll in Cindy Lee’s Nail and Skin Institution in my new city of Daytona Beach. I knew this would be a great fit for me, honestly, I was surprised that I hadn’t had the idea sooner seeing as I was always getting my nails done & so eager to create. In July ‘23 I had graduated school and was awarded my diploma and Nail Specialist license. Ever since then I’ve been working to expand my knowledge, sharpen my craft, make connections and continue making pretty people feel even prettier and I can’t wait to see what 2025 and the years moving forward hold for myself and Audri Nailed It! LLC.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am an artist specializing in Acrylic Nail extensions. As of right now, I also provide manicures and acrylic toe nails, and am going to expanding the services I provide in the new year. I pride myself on my versatility, I know I can cater to all my clients’ different aesthetics, and elevate their visions to the next level. No idea or design too crazy, I live for the artistic process of it all. I love connecting with my clients during our appointments and the bond I am able to build with them over time. I hope my clients can find a safe space in my chair and that I can make a positive impact in some way through my art and passion.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I think I’ve always been a sort of perfectionist, and that poses as much pros as it does cons. But over the years I have learned and am still learning to be more trusting in my abilities & that just because something is not the exact replica of the picture in my mind does not mean that it is “bad” or “unworthy”. Art is meant to be subjective & I know anything I create is beautiful simply because I created it. Don’t get me wrong though I am still dedicated to putting my best foot forward, and all my clients they are not leaving my chair until their set is up to par for not only their, but my own high standards.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Honestly as a beginner nail tech it just makes me happy to see my own progress and my returning clients. To see my clients’ faces light up when I nail their inspiration, or when they trust me to use my own inspiration. Or when my clients brag about me and/or post my work.
