Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rani Sanghera. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rani, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
If I could go back in time, I would have put more focus and energy into starting my own business earlier. Like many people my age, I grew up with the belief that pursuing higher education and climbing the corporate ladder was the key to success. I was also told that staying loyal to one company and working my way up would eventually lead to success. However, I’ve learned that the world doesn’t always work that way anymore. Another thing that has shifted from my early adult years to now is my definition of success. It has shifted from material things to connections, love, family and experiences.
Looking back, I wish I had trusted my instincts and followed my passions rather than choosing what felt “safe.” It wasn’t until my 30s that I realized I wanted a more fulfilling and purpose-driven career. That realization led me to go back to school, where I started my journey with yoga training, eventually progressing to becoming a Yoga Therapist.
That said, I believe everything happens for a reason, and I trust that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. The life experiences I’ve had along the way have shaped me into the person I am today and have made me better at what I do. I’m truly excited about this next chapter in my journey and all the possibilities it holds.

Rani, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have always been a seeker, deeply curious about the mind-body connection and how we can create meaningful change to live happier, more fulfilling lives. For me, yoga has been the key to unlocking that potential. It’s not just a practice—it’s a pathway to healing, self-discovery, and transformation, and it has shaped both my life and my career. One Key book that resonates with me is ” The Body Keeps Score” By Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. It has helped me with healling my own trauma and has been a tremendous guide in helping others through Yoga Therapy and Somatic Bodywork.
Through my work, I help clients address a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, and disconnection from self. My approach is centered on fostering a deeper connection to yourself and your purpose, using tools like yoga therapy, breathwork, psychedelic guiding, and inner child healing. My goal is to guide clients in tapping into their body’s innate healing wisdom, empowering them to move through life with more balance, clarity, and joy.
What sets me apart is my whole-body approach. I meet each client exactly where they are, tailoring the work to their unique needs, experiences, and goals. This personalized, integrative method creates a safe and supportive space for true transformation.
What I am most proud of is witnessing the transformations my clients experience. I’ve seen people heal from depression and anxiety, recover from burnout, and reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Watching someone rediscover their purpose and joy in life is profoundly rewarding—it’s what drives everything I do.
At its core, my work is about helping people find wholeness and alignment, so they can show up in their lives as their truest selves. If you’re looking to reconnect with your inner wisdom, heal deeply, and step into a more fulfilling life, I’d be honored to be part of your journey.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
One resource that has profoundly shaped my thinking is “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. This book has helped me cultivate presence, clarity, and focus—not just in life but also in my work as an entrepreneur. It’s a powerful reminder that staying present allows us to make better decisions, approach challenges with mindfulness, and connect more deeply with our purpose and those we serve.
Another Book that deeply resonates with me is “The Body Keeps the Score” by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. It has been instrumental in my own healing journey and has profoundly shaped the way I support others through yoga therapy and somatic bodywork. The book offers invaluable insights into how unresolved trauma is stored in the body and provides practical approaches to working through it. I frequently reference it in both my personal practice and when guiding my clients toward healing.
Equally impactful has been having mentors along the way. I believe it’s incredibly important to seek guidance from someone who is either in your industry or excelling in areas where you want to grow. Learning from their experiences, insights, and even their mistakes can provide invaluable lessons that accelerate your growth and help you avoid unnecessary pitfalls.
For me, both personal development through books like The Power of Now and the wisdom shared by mentors have been essential in shaping my entrepreneurial philosophy. They’ve taught me the value of staying grounded, open to learning, and always striving to align my work with my deeper purpose.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me has undoubtedly been word-of-mouth promotion. There’s something incredibly powerful about personal recommendations—when a client has had a transformative experience and shares that with someone else, it carries a level of trust and authenticity that no marketing campaign can replicate.
Client testimonials and referrals are a clear sign that you’re doing something right. When your work resonates so deeply that clients feel compelled to share it with others, it’s the ultimate validation of the value you’re providing. It’s also a constant reminder of why I do what I do—helping people heal, grow, and transform their lives.
