Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rodney Iler G.e.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rodney Iler, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
The Bible says in Philippians 2:2 “Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.” This verse speaks to unity, shared purpose, and aligning oneself with a common goal, which can offer a meaningful framework for approaching learning and growth. As a collective, we must operate in this spirit of oneness because it helps us maintain order on and off the platform and that’s how we continue to learn how to do what we’ve been called to do.
We believe that God doesn’t do anything by mistake, but looking back, we realize that a stronger foundation of prayer, intercession, and biblical study would have better equipped us to navigate both the opportunities and challenges we encountered at the start of this season of building our foundation.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We are Rodney Iler & G.E. also known as the Great Exchange Worship Collective. Our collective was founded to create a safe space and trusted community to help them strengthen their relationship with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:21 speaks about how God made Jesus a sin offering so that when we fall short, we can regain righteousness in the sight of God. This safe space was created for you to exchange your imperfect ways for God. When we go out, we desire to be a light to the world that shines so bright that people don’t see us, but instead, they see the God that we’ve committed ourselves to. Today, our ministry reaches thousands through vibrant city-wide events and engaging social media content. We’re committed to growth, outreach, and worship, they continue to inspire and uplift communities around Atlanta and beyond. As we continue to develop and build, we’re excited about all of the spiritual development and exposure of impactful ministry gifts that are unfolding more every day within this collective.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Our social media presence is growing more every day and there are 2 things that we believe help us continue growing in this area.
The first thing is the authenticity of the content we post. It’s important to find your purpose, find what’s unique about you, the thing that sets you apart from others, and build with that. People are not looking for duplicates of their favorite creatives and in all actuality, most people are tired of seeing the same things from different people now. So, stay consistent with being your true self, with your creative ideas and visions.
The second thing is, being in tune with what the Lord’s plan, timing, and schedule look like. To find your true purpose and calling, you must first have a relationship with God but after you’ve discovered your purpose, your level of seeking him has to increase so that your sensitivity to his timing can increase. Oftentimes, our posting schedule is based upon what feels like a God time versus a good time to post. Of course, our insights are considered as we’re seeking him but the root of our scheduling is found in our relationship with God. Through this, the favor of God causes our posts to reach numbers much further than we’d be able to reach on our strength.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
As mentioned in our introduction, our mission is to provide college students with a safe space and trusted community to help them strengthen their relationship with Jesus and exchange their imperfect ways for God and the love that he shows.
With our founder being a college student, he understands that there is a generation of students who are struggling with their minds, finances, habits, sins, etc. but are also gifted, called by God, and have a desire to get closer to him. Being in Atlanta, there are opportunities everywhere and oftentimes, that’s the magnified part of the story but no one talks about how getting into the creative industry, most executives don’t care much about the persons as much as the talents. So, our founder, Rodney created this space for college students to become the best version of themselves while also exposing their spiritual gifts to the world without any corrupt or ill motives behind it.
