We recently connected with Linda Angel and have shared our conversation below.
Linda, appreciate you joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
Technoblade, who went on to fight God in June 2022.
He has taught myself and millions of others about the ethics of hard work, self belief, and the responsibilities of being a great streamer and to always remain humble.
I hope to one day be as successful as he was and to continue his goals; from donating to the sarcoma foundation, to producing the best content I can for my audience, and remember that it is okay to give yourself some slack when things don’t go the way you planned.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am but a small streamer who just got back from a two year break. I’ve learned that things can go very awry in life but as long as I remember to believe in myself and forgive myself for my flaws and mistakes, I can always come back to my projects. Some projects are harder than others, my writing is very difficult for my brain to pick a singular spot to work on.
Nowadays, my work keeps me busy as a dietary aide, feeding over 60 people three times a day, and keeping the dishes clean.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Honestly, it’s the fact that I can produce something people will love and enjoy! Feedback is always important to me as I can use that to provide better videos or livestreams. Which edits make people laugh more, what jokes do people enjoy the most?
Because that’s all I want to do; pricing everyone with a good laugh.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Networking.
Knowing people who can help you boost your online presence as well as boosting theirs while keeping your reputation as clean as possible.
Sometimes even knowing a person or a collab could hurt you if the person you work with has a problematic background.
Sometimes it cannot be helped, sometimes you don’t know u til it’s too late. The important part is knowing how to respond to situations and removing yourself from the problem that have nothing to do with you.
