We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Breonna Pulphus. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Breonna below.
Breonna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
I started my business in 2020 in a college dorm during the pandemic.
I was an ambitious but indigent college student that simply was looking to increase their income.
I’d say I started my business on time, divinely. Entrepreneurship is a journey of self discovery & spiritual gain. If I had’ve started it sooner, I’d be too immature to understand the organic lessons that are taught throughout this journey. If I had’ve started it later, I’m not sure if I’d have the same advantage & be able to make the same sacrifices. This testimony is happening at a time it’s supposed to,

Breonna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I emerged into the Lash Industry by teaming up with a fellow friend from Miami. I made the investment of $250, during the pandemic everything was relatively cheap. Investing into this skill was the best opportunity I ever took advantage of for that price.
Being the frugal person that I am, only molded me to become disciplined & determined to perfect my new skill.
I didn’t want the investment to go to waste.
With consistent practice, the versatility & curiosity of working with different lash curls, textures, & diameters is what got my work to stand out.
If I’d have to say I’m proud of anything, it would be myself.
Behind closed doors I’ve endured a lot of silent battles that I don’t share with my peers or family.
I’m thankful for the problems that were strategized to put me in a position to bring me closer to God & for him to step before me throughout it all.
Accompanied with these trials & tribulations, my endurance on faith has been strengthen more than ever now which is my deeper reasoning on how I’ve evolved into the woman I am today.
My brand is authentic & divinely carved for women around the world to embrace true beauty within themselves.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
My business was originally orchestrated to be strictly a side hustle.
I worked with mortgages remotely prior to being a full time business owner.
Every penny I made, I took it & continued to invest it back into my business consistently.
One day everyone got laid off, my business had a steady momentum of clientele & that is when my journey started as a entrepreneur.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A character trait I had to unlearn was being introverted. I’m kind, well spoken, however I wasn’t always approachable. I feel as though business has strengthen my people skills & now I can network just about anywhere. Networking is a very vital tactic in the business world.
