We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Leola Watkins a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Leola thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I want my legacy to feel like a deep, lingering kiss on the soul—something unforgettable, something that wakes people up to the fullness of life. Through my book, Sacred Sex Ed, and the spaces I’ve created, my hope is to inspire generations to embrace their sensuality as a sacred, unapologetic expression of their divinity. Sexuality and spirituality were never meant to be separate; they’re dance partners, teasing and twirling together in the rhythm of our lives. If I’ve helped people see that, then I’ve done my job.
I hope people remember me as someone who gave them permission to play, to explore, to feel—and to do it all deeply. I want to be known for creating moments that felt alive: a retreat where someone finally felt at home in their body, a passage in my book, Sacred Sex Ed, that unlocked their pleasure in a new way, or even a conversation that sparked a deliciously bold transformation.
When people talk about me after I’m gone, I hope they say, “She made sensuality feel sacred and spirituality feel sexy.” I want them to remember how I made them feel—free, seen, and completely turned on by their own lives. That’s the kind of legacy that makes me smile.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
In my early 20s, I stumbled into the world of tantra and shamanic sexuality—not because I was looking for it, but because I needed it. Like so many, I carried the weight of trauma and shame. After surviving sexual assault, I felt disconnected from my body and unsure of my worth. Tantra and sacred sexuality became my lifeline, helping me heal my relationship with myself and awaken to a deeper truth: our bodies are vessels for divine pleasure, power, and creativity. This realization didn’t just change my life—it became the foundation of my life’s work.
Now, I’m dedicated to guiding others through their own transformations, helping them reconnect with their bodies, find God within themselves, and seduce the world into greater joy, love, and wholeness. My offerings range from private coaching to workshops, retreats, and signature programs like Pleasure Priestess—each one designed to empower participants to embrace their sensuality as a pathway to freedom, abundance, and connection. My Amazon best-selling book, Sacred Sex Ed, takes this work further, offering a comprehensive guide to integrating spirituality and sexuality in a way that feels playful, empowering, and deeply healing.
What sets me apart? I think it’s the way I weave profound teachings with playfulness and intimacy. This isn’t just about theory or surface-level pleasure—it’s about diving deep into the wisdom of the body, breaking free from old patterns of shame, and stepping into a life that feels fully turned on. My approach is grounded in compassion and practicality, but it’s also deeply sensual and unapologetically bold. I don’t just help clients “improve” their lives—I invite them to transform how they see themselves and the world.
The thing I’m most proud of is seeing how this work changes lives. Whether it’s someone reading Sacred Sex Ed and finally feeling seen, or a couple leaving a retreat with a renewed sense of connection and desire, these moments remind me why I do this. I want my clients and followers to know that this work isn’t about perfection or performance—it’s about finding the courage to be raw, real, and wildly alive.
At the heart of my brand is an invitation: to let your body be your temple, your pleasure be your guide, and your life be your masterpiece. If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My reputation within this space has been built on two key pillars: grounding tantra in practicality and sensual elegance while making it irresistibly approachable and sexy. Tantra can often feel either too esoteric—like it’s only for spiritual mystics—or too rigid, as though there’s a “right” way to do it. I’ve worked to dissolve those barriers by showing that tantra isn’t about performing rituals perfectly or escaping into spirituality—it’s about embodying your full, delicious humanity in a way that feels expansive, luxurious, and completely aligned with your real life.
I’ve created offerings that invite people into this world without overwhelm or intimidation. Whether it’s my retreats, like Pleasure Priestess, or private coaching, my focus is on blending depth with playfulness, spirituality with sensuality. Clients are met with a grounded, safe space where they can explore these practices while also feeling pampered, empowered, and seen. It’s about integrating ancient wisdom with modern sensibilities, showing people how tantra isn’t just something to practice in a temple—it’s something you can embody while sipping champagne, running a business, or seducing life itself.
Luxury is another piece of this. I believe pleasure is inherently abundant, and my work reflects that. From the way I curate my spaces—think lush environments, indulgent details, and intentional beauty—to how I hold clients in their transformation, everything is designed to evoke a sense of richness and refinement. Tantra doesn’t have to be austere or inaccessible; it can be about finding God in the opulence of everyday life and embracing sensuality as a luxury we all deserve.
What has truly helped me stand out is my ability to demystify tantra without watering it down. I meet people where they are, helping them integrate these teachings into their relationships, careers, and personal journeys in a way that feels both profound and practical. It’s this combination of grounded guidance and sensual sophistication that has built my reputation as someone who makes the sacred sexy, the esoteric accessible, and the transformational truly unforgettable.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media has been an adventure—one filled with both growth and a fair share of challenges. In my line of work, where I openly discuss topics like sacred sexuality, tantra, and the divine nature of pleasure, censorship is a constant battle. I’ve been blocked, flagged, and even unceremoniously deleted from platforms for daring to talk about the very things that empower people to heal and reclaim their bodies. At first, it made me furious. It felt unjust, especially when my work is about love, connection, and breaking free from shame, not anything harmful or obscene.
But over time, I began to embrace it. I realized that being censored wasn’t just a roadblock—it was evidence that I was doing something that truly challenged cultural norms. Many of the greatest minds and movements throughout history faced resistance when they dared to disrupt the status quo. I saw my censorship as a sign that I was part of that lineage—helping to pave the way for a new way of thinking about sexuality, spirituality, and pleasure. And honestly? That’s something I wear with pride now.
When it comes to building an audience on social media, my biggest piece of advice is this: don’t be afraid to be unapologetically yourself. Speak to your truth, even if it ruffles feathers. People are drawn to authenticity, and your unique perspective is what will set you apart. Yes, you might face pushback. You might have posts removed, accounts flagged, or algorithms working against you—but don’t let that stop you. Those moments are often proof that your message is powerful enough to shake things up.
Another important tip: diversify. Don’t put all your eggs in one social media basket. When platforms have shut me down, I’ve learned to find new ways to connect with my audience—through email lists, events, and even old-fashioned word of mouth. Social media is a tool, but it’s not the only one.
Lastly, make it fun! Social media doesn’t have to be a chore or a battlefield. I use it as a place to play, to share my passion, and to connect with people who resonate with this work. When you create from a place of joy and purpose, your energy is magnetic. And when challenges come your way, remember that they’re often a sign you’re on the right track—pushing boundaries, sparking conversation, and making an impact.
