Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Green.

Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
God gave me a bag of balloons! Whenever someone asks me about this, I imagine people might think I’m crazy. Seriously though, God did provide me with a bag of balloons through some good friends of mine. There was a period in my life, as I’m sure many of us have experienced, where I had no passion for anything and no clear idea of what I wanted to become. Although I’m very skilled at doing hair and was encouraged to pursue a career as a hairstylist, it was no longer something I enjoyed. I prayed and asked God to give me something to be passionate about, something I would love doing that could also support me financially. Then, one day, a friend of mine was cleaning out the basement of her late mother, who was a decorator. They gave me a huge bag filled with all kinds of balloons—different sizes, shapes, and types, including foils, geos, and latex balloons in every size. So, in answer to the question, “Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today?” it all began with that unexpected gift of a bag of balloons. This seemingly simple gesture ignited a spark in me. I started experimenting with balloon decorations and quickly realized how much joy it brought me. Over time, my passion for balloon artistry grew, and I turned it into a thriving business. Today, I am proud to say that I have found a calling, creating beautiful balloon arrangements that bring joy to others and fulfillment to myself.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has certainly not been a smooth road. Some of the challenges I’ve faced include going through a difficult divorce and moving into a contentious household shortly after having my son. My son’s diagnosis of autism added another layer of complexity, as I had to navigate the emotional and practical aspects of supporting him. These experiences tested my resilience and pushed me to grow in ways I never anticipated.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently, I am a balloon stylist and content creator on YouTube, specializing in creating beautiful balloon decor for any occasion! I share my passion and skills with a wider audience through my YouTube channel, where I provide tutorials and inspiration. Additionally, I am working on cultivating my love of teaching, aiming to educate others in the art of balloon decor.

I am most known for my joyous personality, which shines through in both my in-person work and online content. I am especially proud to have served and provided stunning decor for prestigious organizations such as the City of Boston, NAACP, BECMA, the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, a local church called Jubilee, and events for State Representative Ayanna Pressley.

Furthermore, I am honored to have been a part of so many special occasions, including baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and more. These events serve as lifetime memories, and when people look back at the photos, the love and dedication I poured into the decor are beautifully displayed.

What sets me apart, based on the feedback I’ve received, is my professionalism and my dedication to going the extra mile to ensure excellent customer service. Clients and viewers alike appreciate my commitment to quality and my infectious enthusiasm for balloon artistry.

I LOVE to sing and plan to take singing lessons to fine-tune the voicebox. I would love to create a gospel album singing some of my favorite hymnals.
