Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Raymundo Vera. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Raymundo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success is a vision we all internally hold. Success looks different for all of us, even if some of the themes are common we all hold our uniqueness in what success looks like for us. In the story of SZN and its accomplishments, we’ve strived for success since we began our project. Sacrifices were repetitively made without a question to get where we’ve gotten and will be made to get where we want to be. Breaking free from your comfort zone would be the topic I hold dearly when on the road to success. Everything SZN has done from the smallest most simple actions has been a result of SZN’s Team breaking free from the chains of comfortability. You’ll realize quickly just how uncomfortable it can get when attempting to bring your vision of success to life. Obstacles will be placed in front of you that you otherwise couldn’t have imagined. It is here when your symptoms become uncomfortable, shy, scared, fearful, and confused, and your palms begin to sweat that you apply full throttle on the gas without looking back or ever searching for a brake pedal on the road to your success.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
SZN-Photo Booth and the team behind it is what I’ve humbly created, my name is Raymundo Vera. This vision came to life inside my entrepreneurial self when I was 18 years of age. As many of us can relate this age is when the party life gets introduced to us. It got introduced to me and when it did I wanted to create something that people could use when holding an event to cherish their best moments of the night. To do this, I found Salsa Photo-Booth’s software that builds and supports Photo-booths just as I envisioned. We launched our photo booth business to the public with one main goal being consumer-friendly prices for the quality services we had to offer. We are proud to have become a serving part of a community where life is celebrated and where we are known for capturing every moment.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media, love it or hate it, is here to stay, and it is important as a business to make your presence on it be felt. The way SZN looked at it we are genuine and authentic, and we wanted to carry that onto our brand. We never turned to help from platforms that boost our followers, we always built a love with the people we had following us even if it was only a small amount in the beginning. The way we look at it is we want genuine people who are here to stay, and all though that may take longer they will be supporting our every move. Whereas if we had turned to help and only focused on the number of followers we had, sure the number of followers would’ve been bigger, but the authenticity of their support would not be. To summarize our take we wanted quality over quantity.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Reputation is everything. We all consciously or subconsciously judge one another and as a leader, I always carried the fact that people will remember how you treated them and made them feel. In applying this with SZN, every customer was treated memorably. We are very punctual at SZN and being reliable is a strong characteristic of ours. Having an overachieving status of reputation has become a motto at SZN.
