Today we’d like to introduce you to 6Two Cory .

Hi 6Two , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin currently living in Los Angeles. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for 10 years. The reason for me moving to Los Angeles was for music with me having a few songs on the radio I moved to Los Angeles and started acting which lead to me to finding a agent and booking a few roles on TV. Now I am juggling my Acting and MUSIC career with me owning my own record label and publishing company.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My career has not been a smooth road, but I am appreciative of all the trials and tribulations that I’ve went through coming from Wisconsin and moving to Los Angeles I had to adapt to a lot

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I go by the stage name “6Two Cory” 6Two stands for the street that I was raised on in Milwaukee Wisconsin 62nd and Capitol Drive northside. I started doing music when I was seven years old starting off playing the trumpet with my parents being musicians. They had me learn to play the piano trumpet guitar and drum set. I started rapping when I was 13 years old, the first year of me Raping I managed to have one of my songs played on my local radio station that was the start of my rapping career. My mom and dad managed me in my teenage years. They were big advocates for Being independent In the music industry The business mindset that they instilled in me is what made me start my own publishing company “170 M Publishing” and also my own recorded “62 Cap Records” fast forward to now living in Los Angeles, I am now fully independent and in control of all of my music, masters and publishing two of my songs “movie” and “hustle” has been recently picked up on NBA 2K soundtrack. I am currently working on my third Project of the year called “6Two Vol.2” which is set to drop August 11th. Flipping to the Acting side, I have landed nine national commercials with my agent Nick Roses at pantheon talent agency since living in Los Angeles, including swiffer Apple, McDonald’s and much more. I think what sets me apart from everyone else is that i am bee Versatile in a lot of things, including fashion, music movies and also real estate.

What matters most to me is family. Family is priceless and pretty much the only thing we have in this world
