Richard, appreciate you joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
Naming a brand is one of the most exciting but challenging parts of building a business. When we started brainstorming, we knew we wanted a name that captured the essence of what we do—helping businesses tell their unique stories in creative and meaningful ways.
We landed on Naritiv because it’s inspired by the word “narrative,” which is the core of our mission. Stories are how people connect, build trust, and ultimately make decisions. By simplifying the spelling to Naritiv, we added a modern, creative twist that reflects our innovative approach to storytelling.
The name also speaks to the collaborative process we take with our clients. We don’t just tell stories for businesses; we work with them to shape a narrative that’s authentic and impactful. Every brand has a story worth telling, and we’re here to help businesses find and share theirs in a way that resonates.

Any advice for managing a team?
Managing a team and maintaining high morale requires empathy, clear communication, and intentional leadership. Start by understanding and respecting each team member’s unique strengths, challenges, and motivations, while fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication. Set clear expectations and goals to align everyone toward a shared vision, and empower your team by giving them autonomy and encouraging innovation. Celebrate wins—both individual and team achievements—and recognize efforts consistently. Promote work-life balance by encouraging reasonable hours and leading by example, and invest in their growth through training and mentorship. Be transparent and authentic, sharing company updates and admitting mistakes to build trust. When challenges arise, frame them as opportunities to learn and grow. Lastly, create an inclusive, fun environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated, and model the positivity, resilience, and behavior you want to see in your team.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the ability to bring ideas to life and connect with others on a deeper level through those creations. There’s something magical about taking an abstract concept, a feeling, or a story and transforming it into something tangible that resonates with people. Whether it’s crafting a compelling narrative, designing something visually striking, or solving a problem in an innovative way, the process itself is deeply fulfilling.
For me, it’s not just about creating; it’s about the impact that creation has. Seeing someone inspired, moved, or empowered by my work is the ultimate reward. It’s knowing that what I’ve brought into the world has meaning and has helped someone—whether it’s sparking an idea, evoking an emotion, or helping a business find its voice. It’s a constant reminder that creativity has the power to connect, inspire, and make a difference, and that’s what keeps me motivated.
