We were lucky to catch up with Kayro recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kayro, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

It started from high school. Little comments like you need to make sure you pass them classes. Then friends and family giving repetitive reminders about things I already gave my word to. My response was either I got you, I got this, or I’m going to make it happen for you. So hearing that and then going through jobs of just not like the feeling I kept getting from it. I never kept a job longer than 7-8 months. I would start feeling caged in and just knew i had more to give than punching the clock. I am a hard worker in whatever I am doing. My mental would allow me to practically succeed and even if it came a moment i wasn’t successful because of my work ethic i didn’t feel like i was ever losing. Either learning and growing. With all that I had to figure out a way to not lean or rely on a job to make it happen in my life. In 2021 i started “WE GONE MAKE IT HAPPEN REGARDLESS”. During that time everybody had to have a mask and that was my very first inventory. 17 different color ways of the #WGMIHR face mask. Then shirts, hats, a few Jean jackets and hoodies, shorts for men and women. After that I started my basketball team under WGMIHR called WIGGAMAR Walkers. We hooped in two leagues across Atlanta that help expand the brand. Then April of 2023 I started my moving company major shoutout to my mom. Since April 2023 I been expanding the moving company and haven’t been as focused on clothing and my basketball team. This year all 3 will be up and running fluently I just had to save and prepare for what i have an idea may happen. Through this process i had to work on my time management, doing thing with a purpose and not just doing whatever just cause. Still working on money management, for me it’s a little harder to manage due to the fact I was always going out my way to help somebody else and they situation and still dealing with my day to day life. I didn’t figure out order with my innovations. I honestly just had to start and i figured out along the way cause whether i took a loss or gain, i still had to wake up the next day and figure out the next puzzle. I don’t really believe in settling, not at least reaching my expectations as a beginner, intermediate or expert level. I’m always trying to get better or get consistent at whatever it is I’m doing cause that’s the only way you seek progress.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

WIGGAMAR WALKERS-we play exciting basketball. Good basketball, i play around a bunch of dogs that’s gone get to it on both ends. I play around people who don’t cry and complain about how they get the ball or the bad officiating that may occur. I’m around some people who will really get to it. Even though we only played two seasons i know folks looked forward to playing against us cause we guaranteed to play a good game no matter the competition.

WGMIHR-providing and sell clothing apparel that displays the motto to give you a daily reminder of what it takes to survive. Our clothes has a meaning. I’m working on finding a way to present the clothes for our new generation, well for anybody.

WIGGAMAR MOVERS-we help people/families/organizations transports their good, belongings. We do trash outs, deliveries, practically anything that needs a truck or you need manual labor to help you with things you don’t have time to do or physically can’t do. We have the cheapest, most affordable rates in the city. Some people say we expensive but I’ll be real if they saying that they not getting to the money fr or looking for a discount

Im most proud of the fact in whatever the business/brand is apart of you are guaranteed to be treated well, respected, have a good time, and laugh, with either business or brand i make sure i select people who can help provide a good environment or great energy. i understand everybody day to day life is hard and may come with a bit of a struggle. If im blessed to be in your present or vice versa I aim to do whatever it is we called upon to do and make you smile/laugh. A lot of people tend to harp on the bad things as if the good and bad don’t come with life.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I use to stay/sleep out my car while i was in college. Literally be the last one going to sleep and first one waking up. I wouldn’t allow variables to change what the outcome should be. I use to wake up at 530ish to catch my boy before he went to work to get in the crib and shower and get on my homework. Those nights i was working til 2, maybe 3am sleeping in my Kia forte 2011. I was never walking around hurting, dirty, slacking on what i had to do to survive. Still putting work into the gym. I never was ashamed of anything cause we all go through stuff however i didn’t want anybody to know what I had going on cause then that’s when the pitty would come. If people were going to help or assist I only want it if it’s genuine.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

I use to have a website through wix. Wgmihr.org that website came to an end about 2022 after i graduated. So everything since then been from word of mouth or me just promo on my pages.

I want my new website to be made from scratch and hold more than just clothing. I want to incorporate my moving company and inquiries about being moved. I want my basketball team on there with our schedule and for other teams to reach out for exhibition games, and training.
