We recently connected with Elise Micheals and have shared our conversation below.
Elise , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope to provide a better platform for men to heal their mental health in a way that creates a new path for the next generation of men. That our children will no longer deal with the needless suffering of unhealed parents and societal pressures we’re faced with, and we can have a more understanding, healthier, and happier society because of it.
Once people feel understood, it gives them the ability to understand and that makes all the difference.
Elise, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a trauma-informed men’s mental health coach that helps men find purpose and passion again by healing subconscious trauma and connecting with their most authentic, spiritual selves.
Originally starting off as a coach for women, I started getting requests from men that revealed the total lack of support for men in the mental health space. It was at this point I realized there was a true need for men and so I dove head-first into understanding and serving the community.
The clients I work with are often high performers who are amazing at business, but struggle with being able to relax, connect with partners on the deepest level, be vulnerable, and feel like things can come “easy.” They are used to a life of working hard but are usually by this point “burnt out” and are looking for more strategies to overcome it so they can get back to working optimally.
I teach them how to heal with a logical, step-by-step process that’s crafted just for men called “The Four Pillars of Men’s Mental Health.” It touches on the spiritual, mental, physical, and relational aspects of life that are the foundations for men to function optimally in society. The process I guide them through teaches the science behind why they’re feeling what they’re feeling and helps them understand a different way to operate so they can finally succeed with ease instead of struggle, no longer feel stressed, and start to connect and lead people in ways they never imagined possible before.
After 2 1/2 years of doing this work, I’m now coaching executive teams, and guiding men into an even more intense level of self-fulfillment and discovery with a spiritual program Superconscious that focuses on cracking open the barriers around intimacy, purpose, abundance, and pleasure as a birthright.
So far I’ve worked with men 1.1, through group programs, masterclasses, and soon-to-be in-person workshops and retreats, and conferences.

I started my business entirely from social media by posting video content on Linkedin. I have 47k+ followers on Linkedin, 100k on tiktok, and 15k on IG. I have never used trends and have made money from all platforms. Here are some key tips I gave to people as I was growing that I think can help you go viral AND make money.
1. Know where your market lives and start growing your social THERE. I started on Linkedin and stayed with it for a year and half before going anywhere else.
2. Give it time to work. I had to keep posting videos for a while before one took off and gave me that confidence boost. You have to give it time to work before switching platforms or strategies.
3. Choose a media you LIKE and can be consistent with. Maybe you’re a writer, not a video creator. Do what makes you feel like you can KEEP to it.
4. Be genuine and authentic. When I started my business I vowed to honor myself and the clients that would align would come. They did and now I don’t feel burnt out because I don’t wear a mask.
5. Fail fast. People worry about perfection before anyone even knows them. Make all the mistakes now before having a huge audience!
If you love what you do, you’ll grow fast. If not, you’ll find out faster it’s not for you.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
The best way to build a reputation within a market is through client referrals and reviews. If you have a strong product and you care about your client that will prove itself.
Building my social media and continuing to try to give things away for free has also really helped build my reputation! It’s allowed me to collaborate with other awesome content creators and that helps with social proof as well as just getting some really awesome friends.
