We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Niobe Alexandra. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Niobe below.
Hi Niobe, thanks for joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
If I could go back in time, I would not change the timing of when I started Studio Kynd.
I began the business whilst I was working as a nurse during the pandemic— it was a role I truly loved, but one that came with long commutes, emotional weight, and limited freedom. It was a time of deep reflection, and I feel like that is something that the pandemic brought for us all; time to reflect. My boyfriend (a graphic designer) was working from home during this time, and seeing him working on really exciting projects sparked something within me. I started experimenting with design during my time off and shared my work on Instagram. My first client reached out for help with a logo, and that was the beginning of everything. A month later, I had five projects, and I was making more money than I did at the hospital, so I made the bold decision not to return to the hospital. Instead, I poured everything into Studio Kynd. Shortly after, I embraced a nomadic lifestyle, taking my business to Spain, moving to Brighton and then on a one-way ticket to Mexico for a couple of months.
Starting earlier might have meant missing out on valuable life lessons, such as the importance of empathy, resilience, and making meaningful connections—traits nursing nurtured in me. These experiences became the foundation for how I connect with clients today, blending grounded strategy with soulful alignment.
If I had started later, I might not have had the same clarity or trust in my creative instincts. The path to Studio Kynd was messy, raw, and uncharted—but it unfolded perfectly for my journey. I needed to experience both structure and freedom to appreciate the balance I have now created for myself and my clients.
Ultimately, I believe the timing was exactly right.
Life has a way of pushing you when you are ready, even if you do not realise it at first. Everything aligned when I was meant to step fully into my potential.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Niobe, the founder of Studio Kynd, a brand and life design studio that blends soulful alignment with grounded strategy to help founders create brands that truly reflect who they are and the lives they dream of living. My journey into the creative industry was not linear—it is a story of self-discovery, transformation, and the courage to embrace the unknown.
I started my career as a nurse. It was an incredibly fulfilling but emotionally heavy role that taught me empathy, resilience, and the importance of human connection. However, I also felt a pull toward something more creative, a way to express my love for aesthetics and design while making a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
During my time off, I began experimenting with graphic design, sharing my work on Instagram, and soon, I booked my first client. From there, everything grew organically. I decided not to return to nursing and instead fully embraced this new path. Not long after, I bought a one-way ticket to Mexico, where I leaned into the adventure of remote living. The more I explored the world, the more I uncovered hidden parts of myself—and that deep sense of self-discovery became the heart of my work.
Studio Kynd provides thoughtful branding and design services that go beyond the visuals. I offer a holistic experience that includes brand strategy, brand identity design, and follow-up support to help my clients sustain their growth post-launch.
Recently, I have expanded my offerings to include a comprehensive package that weaves personal development into the branding process—addressing the fears and hesitations that often hold founders back. Through one-on-one coaching, strategy sessions, and aligned visuals, I guide clients to build brands that not only resonate with their audience but also feel like an extension of their soul.
Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to translate their ideas into a cohesive, impactful brand. I help them gain clarity, create intentional branding that aligns with their values, and build a brand that stands out in a saturated market by feeling authentic rather than performative. I also work with clients who have outgrown their existing brand and are ready to step into their next chapter with confidence.
What sets Studio Kynd apart is the way I integrate heart, creativity, and strategy. My approach is not about rushing to create a visual identity—it is about creating with purpose. I see branding as a deeply personal journey, one that reflects not just a business but the essence of the founder behind it. My signature style blends minimalism, timeless elegance, and meaningful storytelling, with an emphasis on refining the details so that everything feels aligned and intentional. I am also proud of my journey as a digital nomad—travelling the world while running a business has allowed me to approach my work from a global perspective, bringing fresh inspiration into every project.
I am incredibly proud of how Studio Kynd has evolved—from a side passion shared on Instagram to a business that has helped hundreds of female founders and well-known brands worldwide. It has been humbling to see my work create ripples of impact, whether it is helping a founder launch their dream brand or seeing clients feel more aligned and confident in their direction. I am also proud of the community I have built—one centred around creativity, authenticity, and living life as a beautiful adventure.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that life is a gift meant to be explored fully. My work is about more than just branding—it is about empowering founders to live with intention, step into their fullest potential, and create lives and businesses they love. Whether through my design work, coaching, or content, my mission is to remind others that the more we explore new corners of the world, the more we uncover hidden corners of ourselves.
Life is art, and I am here to help others create the life of their dreams if they are ready to dive into the deep end with me.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
There are a few books and resources that have I love, and I believe have how I approach both life and business.
1. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma
This book taught me the importance of aligning your internal world with your external goals. It reinforced the idea that success is not just about achieving milestones—it is about cultivating a life of meaning, balance, and purpose. The lessons around mindfulness, vision-setting, and daily rituals became a foundation not only for how I live but also for how I guide my clients through their own transformations.
Manifest by Roxie Nafousi
Roxie’s approach to manifesting is both practical and soulful, which really resonates with me. Her work deepened my understanding of how mindset, self-belief, and action are interconnected.
The Creative Act of Being
This concept has profoundly influenced my perspective on creativity, encouraging me to view life itself as an art form. It’s not just about what we make but about how we engage with the world—with mindfulness, presence, and curiosity. This philosophy aligns perfectly with my ethos of intentional living, reminding me that every interaction, decision, and moment is an opportunity to express creativity.
The Teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh
Although not a single book, Thich Nhat Hanh’s writings and mindfulness teachings have had a lasting impact on how I approach life and work. His philosophy of “being peace” has taught me that slowing down, breathing, and being present are powerful leadership tools. It’s a reminder that groundedness allows for clearer thinking and more meaningful action, which I bring into how I structure client experiences at Studio Kynd.
My Own Personal Journey with Travel
Travel has also been a significant teacher for me. My journeys all over the world have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the beauty of starting fresh. I see travel as an ongoing “book” in my life—a series of lessons that continue to evolve and teach me new ways of thinking, collaborating, and creating.
These books and resources have shaped not only my approach to managing Studio Kynd but also my belief that business can be an extension of personal growth.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I started Studio Kynd, I had no clear plan as I literally jumped into the deep end, however I simply followed what felt good. My journey on social media began organically when I started sharing my designs and thoughts on Instagram as a creative outlet. My first post was not part of a grand strategy—it was just me, showing up. From there, I kept showing up consistently. I did not have a huge following at the start, but I focused on creating content that aligned with my values and brand aesthetic. I shared mock-ups, quotes that reflected my philosophy, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into my creative process and nomadic lifestyle. I leaned into storytelling—letting people see the journey, not just the polished end result.
Key Milestones in Building My Audience
Consistency with Purpose
I posted regularly but also mindfully, ensuring my content reflected my brand’s ethos of grounded creativity and soulful alignment.
Personal Connection
I did not treat social media as a one-way platform. I engaged with others—responding to comments, starting conversations, and building genuine connections with other creatives and founders.
Evolution and Adaptation
My content evolved as I did. I did not shy away from showing the shifts in my brand, from my minimalist beginnings to the cosmic and soulful brand that Studio Kynd has become today.
Advice for Those Starting Out
Know Your Why
Before anything else, get clear on your purpose for being on social media. Are you there to share knowledge, connect with clients, or express your creativity? Your “why” will help you stay focused and avoid burnout.
Start with What You Have
You do not need the perfect brand shoot or highly polished posts from day one. Begin by sharing what you are passionate about, whether it is your creative process, behind-the-scenes moments, or your inspiration.
People connect with real stories, not just curated aesthetics.
Consistency Over Perfection
You do not need to post daily to grow, but showing up consistently—whether that is three times a week or once a week—builds trust. Find a rhythm that works for you and stick to it.
Engage Authentically
Social media is not just about posting—it is about connecting. Reply to comments, send thoughtful DMs, and engage with others in your niche. These small moments of connection can lead to meaningful collaborations and long-term audience loyalty.
Evolve Your Content
Do not be afraid to pivot or try new formats. I have found that sharing relatable, educational posts and quotes performs well for me. Experiment with formats like reels, carousel posts, and stories to find what resonates most with your audience.
Create a Strong Brand Voice
Your tone of voice matters. Whether it is calm, empowering, or witty, ensure it aligns with your brand identity and makes people feel like they’re connecting with a person, not just a business.
Remember, it is a journey; building an audience takes time. Celebrate small wins, stay true to your vision, and trust that your audience will grow as you continue to show up authentically.
Ultimately, social media has been a way for me to express not just my work but my values, my lifestyle, and my evolution as a person and business owner. It is more than just a platform—it is where I get to connect with like-minded souls, inspire others, and be inspired in return. The key is to stay aligned with your unique story and trust that your audience will find you when you are showing up as your most authentic self.
