We were lucky to catch up with Milo Fox recently and have shared our conversation below.
Milo, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
One of the defining moments in my career came from working with a client who had never exercised before. She wanted to lose weight and improve her mobility but faced significant challenges, including multiple past injuries and a double knee replacement.
An avid sewer, she loved creating beautiful quilts in the upper room of her home. However, when we first met, she often avoided her passion because the thought of climbing the stairs felt overwhelming.
After about six months of working together, she shared an incredible milestone: “Milo, I walked up my stairs without holding on.” She had gone from fearing the stairs to confidently climbing them without using the railing.
That moment truly highlighted the profound impact I can have on someone’s overall quality of life and happiness. It put into focus that the biggest impact I can have is not on a persons aesthetics but so much more.

Milo, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I like to describe myself as a foodie, fitness fanatic, and proud dog dad. My journey into fitness began at a young age, shaped by personal challenges. When I was 16, my father passed away, and my home life changed dramatically. Staying after school to work out became my sanctuary—a place to escape and find strength.
Later, while working as an Emergency Medical Technician, I realized I wanted to do more than respond to health crises—I wanted to help people avoid chronic illnesses altogether. Having experienced the mental health benefits of fitness firsthand, I knew this was the path I wanted to pursue.
Today, my clients come to me with a wide range of goals, challenges, and life stories. My priority is always the same: helping them move better. I focus on correcting muscular imbalances, improving posture, and addressing distorted movement patterns to create sustainable, functional fitness.
What I’m most proud of is my commitment to treating each client as the unique individual they are. I often think of my clients as “Unique Unicorns”—even if I don’t always say it out loud! Building personal, trusting relationships with every client is at the heart of what I do.
Whether we meet virtually or in person, I take the time to truly get to know each person, their goals, and, most importantly, their “why.” I want my clients to feel comfortable sharing their triumphs—and even admitting to that extra cookie! For me, progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a foundation that’s strong and resilient, not fragile like an eggshell that cracks under pressure.
Fitness is a journey, and I’m here to make it accessible, sustainable, and maybe even a little fun along the way.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If I could go back I would choose the same career. I would have just started doing it much sooner because I can only imagine how much more refined I would be now.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
My main success in growing my clientele has been to focus on my “Why” and that is that I love to teach and help people. I offer free advice and coaching as often as possible, and from that I have gained the trust of many of clients before I could call them clients.
