We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Preeti Sharma a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Preeti, appreciate you joining us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
Did you know a neurological response occurs when women wear jewelry?
Yes, wearing good jewelry releases the “feel-good” neurotransmitter which is associated with feelings of happiness and well-being. And, we proudly say our alluring jewelry brings that joy in women’s life by offering premium quality designs for their unique style.Customer satisfaction and trust is our first priority and we aim to exceed their expectations consistently because their happiness is our success. We celebrate diversity and understand that no two customers are same.Customers come to us with their jewelry challenges like “what is the best contrasting color and style of jewelry I should wear with my dress”, OR “I do want big designer earrings but not too heavy, ” OR ” Can you help me finding best jewelry gift for my loved woman”, OR ” I need jewelry which can showcase my individuality and style”.When I hear such challenges form my customers, I immediately tell them I would LOVE to help. I discuss all details as each woman’s approach to buying and wearing jewelry is different, then I offer my solution to each one of them.
I remember meeting a client personally who wanted a statement jewelry for one of the important events. She didn’t have enough time but wanted good options. I gave her an immediate appointment and asked her to bring the dress for which she needed jewelry. I suggested all the designs/styles and colors from my collection which would enhance the look of her dress and personality. She happily took my suggestions, wore that jewelry and thanked me later as she got so many compliments for her look and jewelry.
We thrive on such responses as they motivate us to continue our passion and also inspires us to provide best designs that truly connect with the wearers. We are always excited to help women and also offer jewelry gifts that resonate with their unique journey.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I am a passionate dancer and fashion enthusiast from childhood and have volunteered for many Indian events to promote Indian culture and modelled in multiple fashion shows for clothing and jewelry brands. I remember when I was browsing jewelry for one of my dance shows a few years back, the thought just came to my mind of having my own Jewelry shop someday as I was not able to find the jewelry style that I was looking for. I was seriously thinking about taking my idea to the next level and that’s when my life took a significant pivot turn as I got married. I was busy after that for sometime and then Covid hit so I had to pause my idea. After covid I got pregnant, my life took another beautiful turn and our little cute boy came to our lives. After having a baby the life has changed so much and I am sure most of the moms can relate to it as that cuteness takes away all the time…..hahaha. But that idea of my own jewelry shop was always lingering in my mind so I decided in July 2024 to pivot my idea and that was the birth of PS Collection.I think the biggest challenge is always going from idea to action. Starting something new can be daunting and overwhelming and the hardest part is just starting; especially if we are unsure of the desired outcome. So I just took the first step, started my store and am working towards achieving my dreams.
We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
We use an omnichannel approach to keep in touch and engage with customers across multiple channels, including SMS, social media, vendor booths and in-person appointments. To foster brand loyalty, we focus on offering premium quality jewelry, emphasize exceptional customer service, delivering on our brand promise, provide value and convenience and prioritize creating a deeply personal connection with my customers. I follow up after each purchase with a thank-you note and offer returning customers exclusive discounts. For appointments, I ask each customer’s style, occasion and needs and offer my suggestions tailored to their preferences, ensuring they feel valued and special. Additionally, we text tracking no. to the customers and follow up after shipping the orders. We have festive gifting options like gift wrapping service and customizable packaging. We feature customers on social media to celebrate their style and connection to the brand. I also ensure my unique collection caters to the unique preferences and individual styles of their varied customer base, ensuring each customer feels their needs are specifically addressed and reflected in the offerings and it helps us to create a strong emotional connection. We emphasize that our customers should feel connected to the richness of my jewelry offerings so we focus on consistent and relevant communication on our social media platforms about our offers, updates and designs.
