We recently connected with B2b With Ross And Bella and have shared our conversation below.
B2B, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Over the past few years we found ourselves constantly diving into deep and hilarious conversations about the dance music industry- a space we both love and are connected to. We’d talk for hours about the stories and personalities behind the scenes—the kind of things we knew people would find fascinating but rarely get to hear. That’s when the idea for our podcast, B2B, was born.
But the thought of starting a podcast felt like stepping into a completely new world. Neither of us had experience in podcasting, and the idea of putting ourselves out there—vulnerable to the opinions of friends, strangers, and the internet—was terrifying.
Starting the podcast meant more than just learning a new skill; it meant taking a risk on ourselves. Would people care about what we had to say? Would they even listen? We knew we’d be opening ourselves up to criticism, judgment, and possibly even failure. But deep down, we believed in the stories we wanted to tell and the potential for B2B to resonate with others.
Despite the fear, we decided to go for it. We realized that if we didn’t try, we’d always wonder “what if.” The worst-case scenario—failing—wasn’t as scary as the idea of looking back and seeing someone else take advantage of the opportunity. So, found a studio, brainstormed our first episodes, and hit record.
The journey has been nothing short of incredible. It’s been filled with late nights editing, moments of self-doubt, and a steep learning curve, but it’s also been rewarding in ways we never imagined. We’ve interviewed amazing guests, connected with people who share our passion, and built a platform we’re proud of. Each episode brings more confidence, and seeing listeners engage with our content makes the risk feel worth it.
Starting B2B taught us that taking risks isn’t about being fearless—it’s about being willing to step outside your comfort zone even when you’re scared. We’ve learned that growth comes from trying new things and that failure isn’t something to fear—it’s something to learn from. Whether B2B grows into something big or stays a passion project, we’ll always be proud that we took this leap and gave it everything we had.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We’re Ross and Bella, the creators and hosts of B2B, a podcast that offers a deep yet humorous dive into the dance music industry. Both of us have always been fascinated by the stories behind the artists, DJs, managers, and producers who make the industry what it is. These aren’t just names behind the scenes—they’re people with incredible success stories and complex personalities.
The idea for B2B was born from our countless late-night conversations about music and the personalities behind it. We realized that these discussions weren’t just entertaining—they were insightful, funny, and relatable to anyone who’s ever loved music or worked in a creative industry. Starting a podcast felt like the perfect way to bring these conversations to life, even though neither of us had any experience in podcasting.
It was definitely a leap of faith, but it felt right. We wanted to create something fresh and authentic that bridges the gap between music lovers and the people who make the magic happen behind the scenes.
At its core, B2B is about storytelling. We provide:
• Candid interviews with artists, DJs, managers, and other creatives in the music industry.
• Insights into what it takes to succeed in a challenging and constantly evolving field.
• Entertainment—a mix of humor, honesty, and real conversations that resonate with both industry professionals and casual listeners.
What makes B2B different is our approach. We’re not about scripted, polished interviews or surface-level content. We dig deep into the experiences, struggles, and successes of our guests, and we do it in a way that’s approachable and fun. We’re proud of our ability to create a space where our guests feel comfortable being themselves, which leads to honest and sometimes unexpected conversations.
Additionally, we’re more than just hosts—we’re fans, learners, and participants in the creative process. That genuine passion comes through in every episode.
We’re incredibly proud of the connections we’ve built—both with our guests and our listeners. From interviewing local artists like Camibear to rising stars like Riordan, every conversation has been a chance to learn and grow. Seeing our audience engage with the stories we share has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
At B2B, we’re here to inspire, entertain, and celebrate the creative spirit that drives the music industry. Whether you’re an industry professional looking for relatable stories, a music or rave lover curious about the behind-the-scenes world, or someone simply seeking great conversations, we’ve got something for you.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In one of our first episodes, we had an incredible interview with a guest we were excited to feature. Everything seemed perfect—until we plugged in our SSD card and found that only 20 seconds of video was recorded. We were sick to our stomachs!
We could have scrapped the episode, but instead, we chose to re-record. Coordinating schedules again felt awkward, and we were frustrated, questioning if we were cut out for this. But we pushed through, learning to triple-check equipment and improve our editing skills along the way.
That experience—and many late nights fixing audio or troubleshooting issues—taught us resilience. Each setback has made us better podcasters, more determined to create something we’re proud to share.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
When we started B2B with Ross and Bella, we did everything manually—editing, clipping, and figuring out how to optimize our content for different platforms. It was a slow, tedious process that often left us overwhelmed. If we’d known about tools like CapCut and Opus Clip earlier, it would’ve saved us so much time and stress.
CapCut has been a game-changer for editing and Opus Clip has streamlined the process of creating short-form video clips for social media, helping us quickly pull engaging highlights from episodes to share with our audience.
These tools have not only improved our efficiency but also allowed us to focus more on the creative aspects of the podcast. Looking back, we wish we’d discovered them sooner—they’ve made such a difference in how we produce and share B2B.
