Today we’d like to introduce you to Dana Spanierman.
Dana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My passion for creation began as a child. Designing for women has always been in my family. Growing up on the east coast, my grandmother owned a women’s clothing store, LEEBA, or “loved one.” In 2014, I founded LEEBA to honor my grandmother. LEEBA’s ocean inspired sterling silver jewelry reflects my passion for travel, the ocean, and creative design. I use natural seashells, sliced and polished, in hand-crafted sterling silver settings. The pieces I design are elegant, beautiful, and significant in their meaning and healing powers. Shiva’s Eye shells are known to have the power to protect and watch over those who wear them. Mother of Pearl provides healing and protection and stimulates intuition and imagination.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Thankfully for me, it has been a smooth road. One small obstacle that I faced was during Covid when sterling silver was very difficult to find. Other than that, I have worked with great vendors, suppliers, stores, wholesale accounts and customers. I feel very lucky and blessed.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in ocean-inspired sterling silver jewelry. I use shells and create designs that remind customers of the ocean. I am proud to provide excellent customer service. I personally respond to all questions and concerns that customers have. I stand behind my jewelry and will repair or replace anything that breaks with no questions asked.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success by accomplishing your goals and what you set out to do. It’s not defined by money.
