We were lucky to catch up with Larenzel Jones recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Larenzel , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Streetwear brand Lone N Disaster. Designed for people who create art for peace. MUSIC , other performing arts, SPORTS, etc. My personal situation inspired my brand LND. I lost my mother at a young age and I have only experienced & seen disasters , but I turned my pain into passion . With that being said, whatever it is you do to get through the pain and disasters of Life, this is for you . You’re LND

Larenzel , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I grew up into things like sports, music, and thrifting. Style has always been something I cared about I feel like it sets you apart and can make you feel confident and comfortable in many situations. Life comes with many obstacles and problems you can’t control, (Lone N Disaster) is a motivational clothing brand representing finding peace in your life through your creative passions! No matter what it is! (LND) isn’t like any other brand because we are a breed we are cut to change the world! We are here to show you that Dreams doesn’t stop when it get hard! As a young designer I want people and other creatives to know it’s nothing you can’t do and confidence kills in this business.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.

My brother had a clothing brand before me and taught meh a lot about getting started such as manufacturing so we just did a lot of research and got involved. There’s plenty of manufacturers finding the right one isn’t easy, I’m still trying to find the perfect one. With manufacturing it’s best to stay ahead because orders take time especially from overseas manufacturing.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

There’s changes all the time in life, business, relationships, etc. I make changes everyday with my business until I feel it’s perfect I think it’s something everyone should have to go through and be prepared if not it cause you to be stagnant and content with life.
