We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Isha Kalra. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with ISHA below.
ISHA, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?
The idea for my creative services business came during a transformative time in my life—becoming a mom. It was overwhelming but also inspiring. I started sharing snippets of my journey on Instagram, mixing humor, honesty, and creativity. To my surprise, it resonated deeply with others, and when brands began reaching out, I realized this passion could grow into something more.
What made it feel right was the community I built—people who connected with my stories and found value in them. The growing opportunities in influencer marketing gave me confidence that I could succeed by staying authentic and delivering meaningful content. It’s been a journey fueled by creativity, connection, and the joy of making an impact.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a storyteller, content creator, and mom who turned a love for sharing life’s real moments into a career. It all started with posting honest, relatable snippets of motherhood on Instagram, and over time, it grew into a platform where I connect with others and collaborate with brands.
I focus on creating authentic, visually engaging content that bridges the gap between brands and their audiences, especially in the parenting, lifestyle, and home spaces. What sets me apart is my approach to storytelling—each piece of content feels personal, thoughtful, and relatable.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built and the trust I’ve earned with both my audience and the brands I work with. My hope is always to inspire, connect, and bring a little joy to the lives of those who follow along.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During both my pregnancies, I faced Hyperemesis Gravidarum- a severe form of nausea and vomiting that occurs during pregnancy. It is a rare but serious condition that can affect up to 1% of pregnant women. It was physically and emotionally draining. It left me feeling defeated, but I used that experience to fuel my resilience. Sharing my journey openly helped me connect with others facing similar challenges, and it reminded me of my strength. That tough season taught me to find purpose in the struggle and gave me the courage to build something meaningful, even when life felt overwhelming.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to share real, relatable stories that connect with people and bring a little joy to their lives. I want to inspire authenticity, highlight the beauty in everyday moments, and show that even in the chaos, there’s something meaningful to create and share.
