Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alyssa Spring. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Alyssa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The mission of Casa Vira is to guide others on their journey of self-discovery, inner freedom, and belonging. Growing up in a religious home, I often felt the weight of not fitting in or pleasing a higher power, which drove me to seek true connection and healing. Through years of self-study, questioning, and working with plant medicine, I found liberation and a deep connection with my Spirit and body. Now, I bring all of my gifts, experiences, and creativity to help others navigate their own paths to wholeness. As a jewelry artist, my intention is to craft pieces that empower and remind their wearers of their inherent worth and high value, serving as both adornment and sacred tools for transformation.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I married young—at just 19—and by 26, I was a mother to four children, three of whom had special needs. Our 900-square-foot home was bursting with love, challenges, and the relentless demands of homeschooling and supporting my then-husband in his firefighting career. Amid the daily mundane, I was searching for something deeper: beauty, fulfillment, and a sense of belonging. Beneath my devotion to my family, I carried the weight of deep trauma—a childhood filled with instability, emotional and spiritual pain, and memories of abuse that would resurface later in life.
But I wasn’t content to remain bound by those stories. My love for my children ignited a fire in me, pushing me to question, explore, and uncover new ways of living. This drive led me to esoteric Christianity and spiritual practices that revealed gifts like mediumship, astral projection, and past-life remembrance. I found profound healing and connection through Spirit and began to reawaken my body through movement. In 2018, after the birth of my fifth child, I entered yoga teacher training. Then, in 2020, when the pandemic closed studios, I faced a crossroads: regress into old patterns or move forward into deeper self-discovery.
I chose to move forward. I enrolled in a women’s embodiment course, earned my Reiki Master certification, studied the Nunsta Karpay path of shamanism, and began creating crystal earrings—a way to bring beauty and bits of magic into the world (as well as nurture my need to create something outside of me). These practices became a lifeline, not just for me but also for the clients I began to serve.
In the years that followed, I divorced my husband of 20 years, a decision that brought profound grief and exhaustion but also unshakable clarity, and a deeper sense of sovereignty. Through it all, my devotion to healing, shadow work, and destiny have continued to grow. Now, through Casa Vira, I offer oracle readings, 1:1 healing sessions, and intentional jewelry, blending my gifts with my lived experience. I am also in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer to further support others in connecting with their bodies.
Working with me is a unique experience because I deeply value co-creation. I don’t see myself as a teacher or someone with all the answers. Instead, I’m here to connect, work with my intuitive abilities to assist and support, and to hold space for your uniqueness.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Growing my clientele has been an organic and deeply meaningful process. Most of my clients have found me through word of mouth and reputation, something I deeply value and take pride in. I’ve embraced a spirit of rest paired with aligned action, never compromising my integrity by chasing clients or forcing connections. Instead, I view my work as an invitation—a creation of sacred space where soul-aligned clients feel drawn to step in.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I began making earrings from home as a creative outlet, selling them on Instagram and Etsy. Over time, clients began signing up to work with me in deeper ways, booking oracle readings and healing sessions. When I bought my home, it felt like a new chapter was beginning. Soon after, I uncovered memories of sexual abuse from my childhood and took the brave step of reporting it to the mission I had grown up in. This revelation shook me to my core, and my life began to shift in profound ways.
My body started shedding weight, I lost a lot of hair, a physical release of the burdens I had been subconsciously carrying. My children were struggling, and the cracks in my marriage began to widen. Everything felt like it was unraveling at once. During that time, my practices weaned and waned as I navigated grief, trauma, and profound change by embracing the pain, and loving the hidden parts of me. Even during this upheaval, I continued creating. I kept making earrings, held space for others, loved my family with all of me, and even expanded my business by getting my creations into five local shops.
One universal law that has guided me through this time is the understanding that when we give, we are emulating Creator. Even through loss, I’ve come to see that giving—whether through my work, my art, or my presence—is part of a sacred cycle. While I’ve taken time to rest, grieve, and honor my emotions, what has helped me most is finding a sense of consistency in my work. Remembering that I carry a spark of the Creator reminds me I am always most fulfilled when I am giving, creating, and allowing myself to participate in the flow of life. Through it all, creating has been both my anchor and my offering—a way to heal myself while bringing beauty and intention into the world.
