We recently connected with Lecreatia Alston and have shared our conversation below.
Lecreatia , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My music isn’t just music. It’s actual events in real life, whether it’s me or someone else. It’s original and relatable. Soulful music, love music, and more. Volume 2 is definitely most meaningful to me currently because its all so real. Its all original and it took a lot of perfecting and hard work to drop it so fast after my Volume 1 Album.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started out singing in church when I was a little girl. I’ve always had a passion for music. Everything is better with music I believe. I always try to relate to my fans and supporters through music or in song. I am most proud of my passion to keep going even without as much support as other may have. I am also proud of my small piece of support I do have, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Having music on all platforms is a very big step up for me, because I come from nothing, I come from unorganized ways. Learning the right way makes me happy to keep working hard on my craft.
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My specific goal is to own my own business. Definitely owning my own music and being financially stable because of music.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect when it comes to being an artist I’d say is how creative you get to be while making it become therapy for yourself at the same time.
