We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dr. Jessie Lynn, Ph.d. a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Dr. Jessie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Before discovering my purpose, I did very well for myself and was already experiencing high levels of success. I graduated with my first master’s degree at the top of my class at Pepperdine University here in Malibu, California, and I was making well over six figures. Still, I had a clouded mind and heart around what my life purpose was and the work that I was placed on this Earth to do. No amount of money or accolade could fulfill my heart. I knew deep down inside that I had more to give, and my purpose continued to tug on my soul.
No amount of money could fulfill me. No accolade could fulfill me either because I knew deep down inside that I had more important things to do than chase money. I believed in my heart that I had more to give, and my purpose continued to tug and pull on my soul. I imagine many others can relate to this and often experience similar emotions.
Realizing that I had the desire to empower women and align them with their purpose led to a very deep interpersonal experience. I began to meditate. A 5 to 10 minute daily meditation practice was and still is the gold that serves as my inner compass, where I get to quiet the noise of the outside world and tap in to listen to the callings on my heart.
The ah-ha moments of clarity from the practice were groundbreaking for me. I began to see the work that I have been called to do, and I knew the exact work that I should be doing. Since then, it has been a game changer. No longer do I work just to have a paycheck… I work from a space that reflects the joy that is felt each and every time a woman has this same experience of discovering her purpose as well.
It was this intrinsic reward and feel-good phenomenon that inspired me to write my first book titled, “Career Discovery: Aligning Passions With Purpose.” It did so well that I was honored with the “Influencer of The Year Award” by The International Association of Women; many C-Suite Executives began reaching out seeking guidance. Even Google noticed, got involved, and endorsed my book.
A few years after writing the book, I decided to go through the Career Discovery process myself and came out on the other side as the founder of The Woman’s Healing Network. Right now, we are off to a modest start and operate as a safe environment where women get to grow, commune, and support one another as we each heal from the things life throws at us. Serving in this Light has been an incredible journey, and I am humbled to be in a position to serve. We currently have over 7,000 followers on our Facebook page after launching less than a year ago. It is this glimmer that shows me that this space is truly something special. Powerful things happen when women come together.
As a result of embracing my own unique path, without having a book signing and without pushing any sales, the book somehow made it to Walmart, and just yesterday, which was my birthday, I got a call from Barnes and Noble informing me that my book has just made it to their stores! They called and asked me for a signing. You can imagine the joy I felt—I did my best to capture the moment, but it really was an incredible feeling. These glimmers of success have given me confirmation that I truly am on the right path, and I am now following the success of the work and making a greater effort to water this plant. I know that if I can step out with courage and discover my true self, then other women can as well. I really hope that his article inspires them!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Not many people know about me, as I am a very behind-the-scenes type of girl. They don’t get to commune unless, for some reason, I am hired to lead a corporate event as I consciously decide to let the book remain front-facing. The book is the true star; I am simply a vessel, but all of the effort and work that I put into serving as a mentor all those years is lovingly packaged in the book in order to nourish the woman who I may never reach. My intent is for the book to reach every woman who desires more: to feel whole and seen and have the same breakthrough that I’ve had. We all have something beautifully unique and powerful to share, and we all have the ability to make a difference. It’s just a matter of WHO will answer the call.
With that said, I view myself as one of one. I am the only person that I know who is a “Double Across The Board.” I am a double bachelor’s, a double master’s, and soon to be a double doctoral. On one hand, I have all the degrees in business, and on the other, all the degrees in physics, making me a powerhouse in business and in holistic medicine, where I teach “Global Medicine,” and I freely share what I know at The Woman’s Healing Network. So far, we have come across breakthroughs in cancer cells and in Alzheimer’s/dementia, so needless to say, the work is very rewarding.
In my most recent dissertation, titled “Proof of The Astral: Exploring The Edge of The Universe and The Science of Mind Travel” (Completed: circa 2023), I teach thought-provoking subjects. My work proves that healing occurs in the mind BEFORE it ever occurs in the body. In this work, I invented a one-size-fits-all approach to reverse engineer a virus or disease by combining alchemy with electromagnetic energy. In this way, my hope is to disrupt the way we view medicine by bridging the gap between Eastern and Western practices.
It is this type of work that I believe sets me apart from the rest, and it is something that I am very proud of. If our readers are interested in learning more about the healing work, then I encourage them to read the article that was covered by Bold Journal. In the article, I shine light on what I learned from traveling to Columbia to sit at the feet of King Khurhu, where he taught me extraordinary things like how to transcend time, space, and reality and explore non-linear reality where the real magic happens. It was King Khurhu and people like Queen Afua who truly have inspired me to live and eat conflict-free and how to reverse engineer viruses and diseases. You can find the Bold Journey article by visiting my Linktree, which I will be sure to include later in this article as well.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Mentoring women was always something that felt so natural to do, but I never thought that it would become my life’s work. At first, I would just naturally advise those in need who would cross my path… I also had an interest in helping women earn more as well as break glass ceilings. Now, I earned the respect of over 50 million women who voted me in as their “Influencer of the Year.” I am humbled to lead women and serve as an advisor to executives at some of the most prominent companies in the world, including Northrop Grumman, Aerospace, and Big Tech.
I’ve always seen myself as my sister’s keeper, and seeing men earn more than us would really grind my gears… especially because I believe that women are taught to serve and not necessarily taught how to lead. It is my hope that more and more women tap into their infinite potential by expressing their highest point of intellectualism and take on greater tasks. Could you imagine a world where every woman walks in purpose—how dynamic that would be?! I can! That is why I do the work that I do—to light as many torches along the way, because that is the only way we create balance on this planet: by seeing more and more women light up to their true selves and authentic calling. That is why purpose discovery is so important.
Fast forward from having a clouded heart to now walking in purpose! Today, I absolutely love my life as well as the work that I do. I get to lead my own private practice as a licensed practitioner and serve as an advisor to many of the world’s leading organizations, Google included. I get to help individuals walk in purpose and become stronger versions of themselves. I am the founder/CEO at The Woman’s Healing Network, the author of Career Discovery, the “Influencer of the Year” at the International Association of Women, and I was just recently inducted and became a member of #ForbesBLK.
I work majorly with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, work stress, academic stress, relationship issues, thought dysfunction, and so on. My approach is individual-based, and I practice a host of different therapeutic techniques that I gleaned from studying global medicine around the world. My work approach is collaborative and the treatment goals and process are centered towards the needs and lifestyle of each client and organization.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The advice that I have for managing a team and maintaining high morale is to prioritize the company’s ethos and to align decisions from there. In today’s fast-paced and demanding work environment, fostering a sense of purpose and harmony is critical to enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and retention. For that reason, I facilitate high-impact workshops that are designed to empower teams to align personal passions with organizational goals.
By doing this, together we are able to create a more collaborative and thriving workplace and contribute to more meaningful work. That aside, CEOs and founders are quite pleased with the imprint on the bottom line, as happy employees deliver higher quality work, which translates as greater streams of revenue.
