We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gary Little. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gary below.
Gary, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My career has graced with me a unique medley of experiences around digital media, luxury, music, sports and finance. While experiencing each industry I was always everyone’s swiss army knife. I’m a chronic researcher, love to listen, and I taught myself many skills after college.
I saw that there is a different language spoke in the business, celebrity and creative world but they need each other to succeed.
After years of different tests I saw an interesting window to combine gamification with pop culture. We are all used to loyalty programs but for some reason gamification is considered only as a game.
Similar to the QR code it has been around for a while but it took time for it to really integrate into regular life.
One of the main indicators was watching my favorite news outlet “Vice” start to go downhill because their revenue was not matching their major investments that they accrued. Soon after, Huffington post, and many other giants were struggling to generate revenue. Not only were basic banner ads not yielding enough ROI for brands but direct to consumer sales was beginning to boom.
Another indicator was with my previous magazine called Social Blackbook, I saw data that correlated PR directly with sales which is also an overlooked art.
During the pandemic, I had time to really sit with all of my tests and build out my vision. My vision is that regular consumers should be rewarded for driving trends through discovery. In doing this, we can transcend social currency and social commerce.
This resulted in me creating Nufero. While building, I merged my digital agency under the movement. Soon I am getting ready to launch the MVP of the platform on PlanetNufero.com.
The platform will have a point system for engaging in contests, product drops, exclusive content, and community activity. These points can be used in our interactive marketplace of designers, creators, electronics, events, and more. In the future, these points will be transferable to cash.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story! My name is Gary Little, though some may know me by my artist name, Jazz Gordan. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling, creativity, and connecting people through impactful narratives. My journey started at Fairfield University, where I studied New Media and Film. That foundation gave me a unique lens to view the world and a deep appreciation for how media can shape perceptions and drive change.
After graduating, I moved to New York City, where I immersed myself in the fast-paced world of digital media. Working with innovative agencies taught me how to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of content creation and strategy. I then transitioned to an athlete-focused venture capital firm, which opened my eyes to the intersection of sports, business, and storytelling. My work there was not just about highlighting the athletes but also about showcasing their untapped potential beyond the field.
I then moved to Miami where I started my own Magazine called Social Blackbook alongside working content production and activations.
Today, I run a media company and creative studio called Nufero, where we specialize in providing flywheel marketing strategies for fashion, electronics, tech, and entertainment brands. Our approach combines influential funnels to amplify brand reach and loyalty program retention strategies to build long-term customer relationships. By aligning creativity with data-driven insights, we help our clients tell compelling stories that resonate deeply with their audiences.
What sets us apart is our ability to create a seamless blend of strategy, creativity, and innovation. We’re not just solving marketing problems; we’re building ecosystems that allow brands to thrive in competitive spaces. I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built and the tangible impact we’ve had on our clients’ growth.
For anyone discovering me or Nufero for the first time, I’d want them to know that we’re all about authenticity, bold ideas, and measurable results. Whether you’re a brand looking to make a splash or a creator seeking meaningful collaboration, we’re here to help you take things to the next level.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe my reputation within the market has been built on three key pillars: empathy, active listening, and the art of storytelling. These elements are the foundation of how I approach my work and relationships, and they’ve been instrumental in helping me connect with clients on a deeper level.
Empathy allows me to truly understand where my clients are coming from—their goals, challenges, and even their fears. By putting myself in their shoes, I’m able to align my efforts with their unique vision, creating solutions that resonate not just with their business objectives but also with their personal aspirations.
Active listening is equally crucial. I’ve learned that the best ideas often come from simply paying attention—whether it’s to a client’s specific needs, feedback, or even unspoken concerns. This approach fosters trust because clients feel heard and valued, which is a fundamental step in building lasting relationships.
Storytelling ties it all together. Whether I’m crafting a marketing strategy, developing a brand narrative, or simply communicating with a client, storytelling is how I help people see the bigger picture. It’s not just about the “what” but the “why”—why their story matters, why their goals are attainable, and why their brand can make an impact. This ability to articulate their vision in a compelling way not only helps them achieve their desired outcomes but also inspires confidence in their journey.
Over time, this combination of empathy, listening, and storytelling has led to a positive ripple effect. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely cared for, not just as business partners but as people. Because of that, many have been happy to refer me to their trusted colleagues and peers. These referrals are the highest compliment, as they reflect not only satisfaction with my work but also a shared belief in the value of meaningful connections and outcomes.
Ultimately, I think my reputation has grown because of this focus on creating real, lasting value for every client I work with. It’s not just about delivering results but also about ensuring those results feel authentic, impactful, and aligned with their unique vision.

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
Early in my career, I aimed to execute a massive activation during Miami Music Week in partnership with Sennheiser. The plan involved interviewing major DJs at multiple locations and incorporating their headphones into in-room hotel experiences. While the activation was ultimately successful, the process behind the scenes was chaotic.
My partners and I were inexperienced with projects of this magnitude, and managing collaborations between Sennheiser’s German headquarters and their New York office was incredibly challenging. I spent countless nights drafting detailed outlines and working with my team to close the deal. Once it was finalized, a $30K check was sent to their New York office to cover essential expenses, requiring one of my partners to fly there, cash it, and return just in time for the activations.
The days leading up to the event were a whirlwind of logistics and last-minute preparations. Despite the chaos, we managed to pull it off successfully. It was a trial by fire that taught me invaluable lessons about coordination, resilience, and executing under pressure.
