Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Michelle (latigresa) Lores. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Michelle (LaTigresa), thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
A defining moment in my professional career came during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I was pressed beyond measure, trying to develop a training system as intricate and profound as The Method while battling the relentless trials of life. It felt like I was fighting with one hand and building with the other, constantly questioning if I had the strength to continue.
Then, out of nowhere, I received a message on Instagram from someone who didn’t even follow me. They shared that they had planned to end their life that very day. But then, my post appeared on their For You page. They said my words were so raw and powerful that they decided to give life another chance. They told themselves, “I’ll get through this moment, and then I’ll get through the next.”
The message they referred to was about the EQ—Endurance Quotient. I had written:
“Do not look back while you are moving forward, or you will surely hit the wall. Do not look too far ahead, or you’ll trip over something you should have never missed. Focus on this moment, and believe that even if you’re walking out on nothing, God will lay those bricks beneath your feet. That’s how we build it: brick by brick.”
That moment shifted everything for me. It reminded me why I do this work, why I endure, and why I refuse to give up. The lesson I carry from that experience is this: you never know who’s watching, who’s listening, or who’s on the verge of giving up. Your words, your actions, your perseverance… they matter. Sometimes, all someone needs is a glimpse of light to make it through their darkest hour.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For me, this isn’t a career, it’s a calling. My work is rooted in the belief that transformation is possible when we awaken to our true character and step out of the limitations of the adopted nature. The gospel says, “God loved us while we were yet sinners,” and to me, that means God loves us even when we are lost in this world: in the adopted nature, the part of us that identifies as the body, the worldly experience and is programmed by the senses, experiences, emotions, culture etc. My mission is to guide others in integrating the adopted nature (who they had to be in the world) with their true character and stepping into their ultimate reality.
I’ve spent years developing a holistic martial art called The Method, a fully immersive, non-invasive training system that addresses trauma at its core. It’s not just physical conditioning, it’s defragmenting the system, eradicating erroneous pathology, and reprogramming the mind and body for optimal human potential. The first phase of this system: SUPERHUMAN, is designed to help my students transform. It includes:
• Concentration: Receiving and rehearsing truth.
• Mind Mapping: Creating two maps: one for the adopted nature and one for the true character.
• Cyclic Planning: Strategically planning the steps to walk into your ultimate reality.
• Mind/Body Activation: The insertion point where change begins.
I also offer tools like my Cyclic Calendar Workbook, which can be used as a standalone resource or as part of the SUPERHUMAN program.
My background is as diverse as my work. I’m a master trainer, but I’ve also worked in film and TV as a stuntwoman, showgirl, and choreographer. Beyond that, I’m a scientist at heart, deeply immersed in neuroplasticity, behavioral science, physiology, and even quantum physics. My approach is entirely unique. I’m carving a new trail in my field. There’s no other system like The Method, which treats trauma, integrates mind and body, and helps students walk in truth.
What I want people to know is that this work isn’t about me… it’s about them. My goal is to equip my students with the tools to walk in their ultimate reality. I’m also an author and speaker.
At the end of the day, my work is about transformation, helping people to discover and walk in truth, as an instrument of God’s will. That’s the heart of what I do, and it’s what sets me apart.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Unlearning is at the core of my practice. It’s the foundation of The Method. To teach it, I had to live it. The mantra of The Method is: Accept it with love. Endure it with patience. Return it with force. This encapsulates the journey of transformation, starting with accepting who we had to become to survive in this world.
For me, this has meant facing extreme trauma and learning to integrate every part of myself, over and over again. The Method is cyclic, it doesn’t end. Even now, I’m in the process. When memories from the past resurface, I can map out the pathology behind them, gaining a clearer understanding of why I take the paths I do, therefore giving me the power to think the highest thoughts and take the highest ways.
I wouldn’t even call it unlearning; it’s more of an evolution or revolution. Each cycle brings deeper awareness and alignment. To complete The Method, you must be born again, and again, and again. The end of one thing is always the beginning of another.
The greatest lesson I’ve had to unlearn, or rather, evolve through, is the belief that survival is enough. I’ve come to shake the world system and cause a paradigm shift. I’ve come to empower the powerless and strengthen the weak. My program fosters constant integration, endurance, and faith. It’s a process not for the weak of heart, but one that leads to freedom and fulfillment.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Resilience is my everyday reality. I’ve faced things that would break even the strongest of men. Trial after trial, burden after burden. Yet here I stand, ten toes, steadfast and immovable in my obedience to God.
When I accepted my calling, I didn’t know what it would entail or how I’d achieve it. But faith has been my greatest weapon. I’ve always been the underdog, and that’s worked in my favor. It was good for me to be afflicted because through it, I’ve learned that even when I’m wrong, it’s right. Even when I fall, it’s up. And even when I lose, I win!
This isn’t just a mindset, it’s my reality. I am a winner, and winners… we win. My resilience is rooted in that truth. Every setback is a setup for something greater, and every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger.
