We recently connected with Joe Williams and have shared our conversation below.
Joe, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Most of my joy comes from connecting others to impactful circumstances. Having had a life fulfilled with opportunity after opportunity…I began a creative side a writing screenplays that turned into film. However, my projects were built around real issues and challenges faced in our world today with a mixer of comedy, drama and realism.
My 1st full feature film “Driver’s Chronicle” truly was a learning experience, but gave numerous actors/actress access in front of the camera to work their craft.
My 2nd full feature “Unfaithful Espionage” demonstrated I’d learned much, but still was not up to my lofty standards, but gave more actors/actress opportunities and yes, a upgrade.
The 3rd full feature was very good and a great storyline except several key scenes were not shot…
Now, I’m off to my 4th full feature since March 2022;; called +Plus Size with a outstanding cast.
What makes it meaningful besides four full features in two years is seeing the stars in each participants face as they see and feel the experience of being on set.
Joe, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Joe Williams has been a connector of people well before he knew what that meant…as a youngster I was seemingly always picked to lead due to my quick decision making mind. Being a leader is often not as glamorous as one might perceive. You need to be gracious in defeat as your in winning. I’ve been in entertainment most of junior period in life and somehow can’t outrun it so I just do it!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Never giving up…my motor runs for completing what I start.
