Hi Elisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My entrepreneurial journey began with five transformative years in the Army. Despite my commitment, I always knew I wanted more—a greater purpose that extended beyond military service. Balancing my duties as a soldier and a mother of five, I craved more time with my children and yearned for a way to make a lasting impact.

Transitioning from the Army to corporate America, I observed a significant need for leadership development. It became clear to me that there was a gap in the training and support required to shape individuals into extraordinary leaders. Moreover, I noticed that many service members, upon leaving active duty, lacked direction and struggled to find their next steps.

Driven by these insights, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey with a mission to help aspiring entrepreneurs, especially veterans, succeed. One year into this journey, I sought the guidance of a business mentor. Her support and wisdom were pivotal, reshaping my approach and vision. Inspired by her influence, I realized that I, too, wanted to extend that same level of support to others.

Today, I am dedicated to helping corporations and government agencies train their leaders and future leaders. Additionally, I am passionate about assisting veterans and moms in starting or growing their businesses. My journey has come full circle, from serving in the military to empowering others to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams and leadership potential.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My entrepreneurial journey has been marked by significant struggles. In the beginning, before I found a mentor, I had no direction or clear vision of the impact I could achieve. The mentor’s guidance brought much-needed clarity and improvement, but the path remained challenging.

Eager to grow, I sought help from others, which unfortunately led to being scammed by individuals who didn’t fulfill their promises. This painful experience put me in a financial hole, testing my resilience and resolve.

Learning to delegate and trust has been an ongoing struggle. The journey has been filled with ups and downs, with numerous wins and losses. Each setback has been a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of entrepreneurship, underscoring the reality of facing continual challenges and obstacles.
