We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Naliyah Hall. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Naliyah below.
Hi Naliyah , thanks for joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
Well in order to say what legacy I want to build, I have to start from scratch. When I was little girl, I always wanted to leave my creativity and my work to the future designers of the world. I’m from Cleveland, where dreams can be lost anywhere, I want to leave the memory that any and I mean anybody can make it. I want people to understand that you can change your mind on whatever career field you want at any age. I plan on earning an RIAA certification plaque, to hang in my mom’s house, so she can keep something from me to be proud of! With that being said, I think that people will say that I was a creative and ambitious artist, I never allowed myself to be limited to one career field, and that I never gave up on myself or my work. I think people will talk about how positive I was, even in the darkest days; Behind the tears and timidity, I never let myself once back down from accomplishing those huge long term goals I set. I hope i’m remembered for that and of course being a young black woman doing it all!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hello readers! My name is Naliyah or more known as “Nali Graphics”, I am 24 years old, and I was born & raised in Cleveland, Oh. I attended Cleveland Heights High School studying Fashion Design before doing 2 years at Lakeland Community College and switching to Graphic Design with Brand Marketing. I started Graphic Design in the summer of 2023 and was able to create work for artists such as Stunna 4 Vegas, Ytb Fatt, Noodah 05, Yn Jay, etc. My services are Album cover/Single cover design, logos, flyers, business cards/flyers, and motion art design. I plan on continuing my career in 2025!
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the love, the positive reviews towards my work. All the comments, likes, and reposts of my work. It’s really gratifying honestly. I only have been in this industry for 1 year and half, so there’s many more rewards to come! I’m excited for it all and can’t wait to continue sharing my story and work.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I do have a particular goal! I am currently working towards earning an RIAA certification plaque, they are rewarded to the contributing graphic designer to the artwork of a single or album that went platinum or gold. It’s really a huge goal of mine!
I also plan on moving to Los Angeles to further my career as well!
Thanks!
