JAEJOON, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

There are things I try not to forget even after 8 years of working as a street photographer! Consistency and always looking at things positively! Without these two things, your imagination will be small and you will only see reality, so you will not be able to imagine many things!

JAEJOON, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is jb.0611 and I am a photographer who takes pictures on the streets. Based in New York, I experience many countries, communicate and work on the streets. I also do portraits on the streets through collaboration with artists. I always walk on the streets to get inspiration from the streets and to see new perspectives.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Because I work on street photography, I am wary of overlapping styles with someone else’s or continuing to produce work in a similar style. I always try to look at space and distance from a different perspective.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

When I feel a little tired from working in one place or when I finish an exhibition, I choose a travel destination and look for a culture that is completely different from where I am. Even though it may be a little confusing, my inspiration develops further.
